We will pick you up in Cuzco 4 a.m. from whichever hotel you’re staying at within Cuzco city. it’s about a 3 hours drive in our private transport, throughout that we’ll pass through ancient villages and see some wonderful views of the Andes. We’ll begin the hike at 4,400m elevation. From here, it’ll be about 2 hours uphill hike otherwise you could do on horseback riding (optional) to reach the Rainbow Mountain. on the way, you’ll enjoy amazing views of the range of mountains, and traditional llamas and alpacas grazing on the valley.
Once we reach the top of Mountain, you’ll have enough time to absorb the impressiveness of the red mountains that surround this space and your guide will share some info with you about the composition of those mountains. after of amazing photos, we’ll begin our descent with a 2 hour, downhill hike. We’ll then stop to enjoy a delicious, box lunch. Finally, trip back in our private transport. we’ll drop you off at your hotel around 3 pm in Cusco.

5.00edwin is an amazing tour guide. the itinerary and details were seamless. he was fun engaging and made this trip incredible. we would recommend him to anyone traveling to peru. he answered all our questions and provided us with very interesting history of the inkas and peru. edwin went the extra mile with every activity making sure we had the number one experience and we are so grateful!

5.00I went on this Peru trip once in 2023 with friends and again in 2024 with another group of friends, that is how much I enjoyed it. The first trip two of did the Machu Picchu one day hike with Ruben as our guide. It was so beautiful and an amazing experience. Ruben was an excellent guide and very patient and knowledgeable about the history and culture. Simon was our guide virtually our entire trip from Lima to Cusco to Rainbow mountain and he was nice and we all felt very safe. The second trip we went to the Amazon jungle (our guide Dino, who was very knowledgeable about the entire jungle…plants, insects, animals…he was also very nice and patient). Ended the trip after another visit to the beautiful Rainbow Mountain

5.00Well organized itinerary with very nice accommodations and private van. Guides were very knowledgeable, considerate and helpful - especially Elio and Tino in the jungle. Recommend riding the horses partially up Rainbow Mountain like we did. Tamborata Research Center is very nice and the different tours offered were wonderful. We saw a lot of wildlife and natural beauty.
Just what we needed for our dream vacation!

5.00We hired Elio on a friend's recommendation and we were glad we did!!! We had most amazing trip becuase of amaazing services of our trip guide. We did 4 days cusco tour with him. He was always right on time and was knowledgeable, fun, and provided us valuable guidance. He was extremely patient with us and went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful! He even helped us with food as we are vegetarians. Thank you Elio!

5.00Rainbow mountains are great! To me that was the most interesting part of my journey to Peru. So I really recommend you to include that into your plan. It comes together with your hike and efforts you spent it brings you up to desirable top. Great feelings! I discovered the idea of hikes and understood why ppl really like it. Its a great possibility to recharge your battery and see what you are able to do. Fight your demons and see your angels. I think most of activities in that area are somehow spiritual. So its important who is your guide. Elio is great and extremely professional with what he is doing. So our hike felt like a wonderful journey of a good friends.
