The impressive mountain of colors attracts a large number of visitors, no doubt, for its variety of colors and for being in the Andes at a height of more than 5000 meters above sea level, for many visitors this place is a great challenge and Enjoy the wonderful scenery it is even more. Itinerary: 4.00 a.m. - 4.30 a.m. Pick up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer on the route to the south of the city of Cusipata - Paucarpata for 2 hours approximately, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then we will continue our tour for 40 minutes to the control point where we will start to do the trek. Once this point is reached, our guide will give you the instructions and recommendations of the route and the latest scopes. The walk will last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes until you reach Vinicunca or Montaña de Colores 5020 m.s.n.m. On the way we will observe a large number of llamas and alpacas, which are with the shepherds who dress in beautiful colorful costumes. Then we will go to the highest parts, surrounded by the peaks of the snowy Ausangate. We will arrive at this point at 10.30 a.m. approx. This is where our guide will explain about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain. You can continue climbing to the highest 5080 m. On return we will take the route through the Mirador del Valle Rojo. Then we will have our delicious buffet lunch, variety of Novo Andean food. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco. It is recommended 2 days of acclimatization in Cusco. And people who are not in optimal physical condition for the walk, have the option to rent a horse Maximum height. 5080 m.s.n.m. Distance to travel: 4.5 k.m. Duration of the trekking: 3.5 hours approx.

5.00We had a great experience in Perú thanks to Guliana! We booked tours to Paracas, Ica and Nazca lines. Also had a great time in Cusco, Machu Pichu, Valle Sagrado and Montaña de los 7 colores. She managed to make our trip easy going, full of details and all very well coordinated. We met very kind and knowledgeable guides in all the touristy sites. I recommend to search and plan your visit with Guliana‘s help.
