Great guided hike to explore the Wild South !

5.00We had an amazing hike with our guide, Paj. He took us to four different spots, ranging from stunning cliffs to waterfalls and beautiful natural pools. He always gave us plenty of time to take photos and enjoy swimming, while constantly making sure the whole group was safe on the trail. Along the way, he even showed us some endemic plants and shared interesting facts about the area. Thank you again, Paj, for such a great experience!

5.00We had a fabulous outing with our guide Gilles, who expertly guided us up and down the tricky bits and was a fountain of knowledge on all things relating to the great outdoors in Mauritius

5.00What a fantastic experience! Walking in the river, seeing a waterfall and natural pools, it was great! In addition, my guide, Régine, was really great both on the explanations concerning the fauna and flora of Mauritius and on his expertise during a little more difficult passages during the excursion! I had a great time. I recommend 😊

5.00We visited ‘The Wild South’ on our last day in Mauritius. After a week of exploring the island (with, among other things, climbing Le Morne and hiking to Mare aux Joncs) this was a perfect ending. It was totally different and less physically challenging than earlier experiences, but very beautiful and interesting in it’s own way. Besides the rough and rocky nature we also really enjoyed the conversations with our friendly guide - Paj - who shared a lot of his knowledge about the history, flora and fauna of Mauritius with us. The Wild South might not be the most famous part of the island, but we really enjoyed visiting there!
