Imagine rappelling down waterfalls in a private rainforest valley on the famed Road to Hana. What's rappelling? It's a popular adventure/gravity sport that includes a descent from a cliff or wall using anchored ropes. Under supervision and instruction from expert guides, you’ll use professional equipment to descend into nature in the Maui location featured in the movie Jurassic Park. Great for active families, couples, groups and solo travelers with an appreciation for dynamic outdoor excursions. Minimum age of 10; minimum weight of 70 lbs., maximum weight of 250 lbs., and waist measurement between 22 and 48 inches. All gear (including shoes) provided. RAIN or SHINE: We go to the rainforest. Waterfalls are naturally occurring phenomena changing rapidly at any time. When the streams flood due to rain and the falls are roaring or swollen, and we cannot safely rappel one or both waterfalls, we rappel 40- to 115-foot drops from jungle cliffsides at a safe distance from the water course.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Minimum age is 10 years old.
All participants must weigh between 70 lbs and 250 lbs; waists must measure between 22 and 48 inches. We weigh all participants at check in. There is no refund for guests who don't make the weight restriction at the check in point.
Participants must understand spoken English well and speak it fluently.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult; a legal parent or guardian must sign the child's permission form before tour begins.
Operates in all weather conditions with alternate rappels when the waterfalls are flooding, please dress appropriately.
Participants must be able to walk and hike unassisted.

5.00This tour was sooo epic! It was the perfect way to start our adventure drive to Hana. It was the perfect amount of thrill. Not too scary but enough to push you out of your comfort zone and get your heart pumping. The guides were awesome! They made us feel safe and comfortable. Thank you Deacon and Elena! Swimming in the pool at the end with the waterfall was incredible. One for the books!

5.00We LOVED Rappel Maui! Our concierge recommended them and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We had a group of five (parents in our late 40s + kids ages 23, 19, and 17) and every single one of us was entertained, challenged, and had a blast. The guides were hilarious and amazing at keeping everyone engaged and comfortable the entire time. All three of our kids said they’d rather do this again than whale watching or snorkeling so that says it all. Huge thanks to Alba and Shauna!

5.00My family of 5 had an Exhilarating fun-filled day at the waterfalls with our friendly, competent, personable guides , Deacon and Taylor!! From the very beginning they made us feel at home, comfortable and safe under their care. They were experts at giving clear instructions to ensure we remained injury free at the cliff edges. Thank you Taylor for cheering all of us on! Thank you Deacon for the peeled tangerines and for finding back my brother’s pants!

5.00Shauna and Alba were fabulous guides. Their calm and easy-going approach put everyone at ease. They were thoughtful about verifying all of the safety equipment while still empowering my kids to do everything on their own and quietly correcting them or making adjustments. My kids (17, 14, 11) all left feeling confident and exhilarated from their experience.
