5.00This tour is a must for persons visiting the Venice/Romanga area. Cristiana shared her wealth of knowledge about the amazing historical sites in Ravenna, allowing time for questions, taking pictures and just gazing at the wondrous views. There is so much to take in and this tour did so much to increase our understanding of the rich history of Ravenna.

Sabrina brought each site to life with fascinating insights, from the dazzling mosaics of San Vitale to the serene beauty of the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia. 5.00Spectacularly interesting! Our guide, Cinzia, was so knowledgeable about the history of Europe, Rome (East and West), and the Germanic tribes. She showed us 5 world heritage sites and it was worth it. We learned so much about Theoderich (my main interest on this trip), about Galla Placidias and the crucial role of Ravenna as the Roman Empire was losing its grip on Italy. The sites were unforgettable. The whole day was splendid time for the family.
