  I booked a guided Manaslu Circuit Trek as a solo traveler, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The agent Karna was extremely kind, professional, and responsive throughout the planning process. They were very flexible and willing to tailor the itinerary perfectly to my preferences, making several adjustments before the trip started. The guide provided was outstanding — not only highly professional, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the trail, local culture, and trekking conditions. Along the way, he gave excellent recommendations that helped optimize the hikes and made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and I always felt supported during the trek. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend Nepal Mother House to anyone considering the Manaslu Circuit Trek.

  My partner and I booked the Manaslu Circuit trek with side trips for this March 2026. It was amazingly organised by Mother House Treks and Karna Rana. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions (even some of the stupid ones!). Our guide (Sabut) and porter (Suman) were amazing throughout the whole trip. Their breadth of knowledge and experience of the region was great to have and made the trip unforgettable for both of us. Sabut especially was very flexible with the itinerary during the trip with our sore bodies and with the weather being tricky for Larke Pass, we managed to shift a few things around and have half days of hiking here and there to accommodate. Suman was also great with carrying the majority of the weight of our packs and preparing the nightly fruits for dessert! Everyone with Motherhouse Treks made the trip an authentic immersion into the Tibetan culture of the Manaslu region. Couldn't have asked for a better and safer trip in Nepal.

  I asked Nepal Mother for an 18-day trek combining the Tsum Valley and the Manaslu tour. Here's my feedback: Organization (Karna): From the preparation phase, Karna was very responsive. He listened to my expectations and his professionalism and kindness greatly facilitate logistics this type of expedition. The frame is reliable from start to finish. The Guide (Kisim): Leaving with Kisim is a guarantee of serenity. With 25 years of experience, he has a millimetred knowledge of the region. Beyond the safety aspect, he is extremely attentive to daily well-being and adapts the pace according to the terrain and fitness. An authentic immersion in the local culture through its exchanges.   Highly recommended! Communication with Karna was excellent; he customized our Manaslu–Tsum Valley trek perfectly to our wishes, with plenty of acclimatization and rest days. A huge thank you to our guide Pratap—always patient, kind, and highly competent. He stepped in at the last minute after becoming a proud father just 15 days earlier, and still joined us for a 23-day trek. Calm, cheerful, and quietly efficient, Pratap handled everything smoothly. When I badly sprained my ankle on day one—and again during five days of nonstop typhoon rain—he found smart solutions. On top of that, extreme weather caused landslides and unexpectedly large amounts of snow at higher elevations. Pratap consistently came up with smart, safe solutions. Because we were a small group of four, I could set the pace, which made all the difference. Our porter Dipak was unforgettable: full of character, endlessly funny, and incredibly helpful. Shy at first—definitely not! He kept us laughing, sang beautifully while hiking, and brought great energy every day. A visit to the health post together even turned into a memorable moment. Despite being fit, we wisely skipped the Larke La pass due to my ankle and returned after the Tsum Valley. Pratap got home earlier to his family, and we left with amazing memories. • A very professional agency, highly flexible and honest

  I've trekked for 24 days up and down the Tsum Valley and then around the Manaslu circuit with "Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition" of Karna Rana and I'm extremely pleased with their services. I'd already done a number of treks in the Himalaya without a guide or a porter and definitely I did not wanted a fully organized package. I just needed the permits provided by and agnecy and also an authorized guide, since these are legally required for Tsum and Manaslu. All trekking agencies contacted by me, however, only offered fully organized packages with fixed and quite compressed itineraries. Karna Rana also initially offered me a full package, which is probably required by most clients. After this, he however immediately understood my desires, and provided exactly what I needed, for the correct and honest price, and without pushing for unrequired services. He also gave me very precise and useful information about the defects of my plans, and significantly contributed to a much better itinerary. He was also very useful and forthcoming when one of my scheduled trekking partners had a sanitary problem before actually starting the trek. The porter-guide provided the agency, Kishor Magar, proved to be very gentle and protective, full of nice humor, highly flexible, surprisingly strong when necessary, and very knowledgeable about the path, the many villages, and the various side tracks I was interested to. I really enjoyed the company of Kishor and I feel that I've been very lucky to have him as my partner in this trek. I highly recommend "Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition" as an agency, and Kishor Magar as a guide, porter, and trekking partner.

  STUNNING experience!, the views and energy of the mountains were spectacular. Our guide (Karma) and porter (Sangam) made our trip perfect, very professional, with a lot of experienced in high altitude and this type if trekking and super friendly. Definitely we will come back!

  I have been planning to do the Manaslu circuit for months and got the Nepal Mother House recommended by a friend from Berlin. I asked Karna if it was possible to have a female guide since i was a female solo traveler and would feel more comfortable with a woman. He luckily got me in touch with Guide Ashmita who i then did the whole trail with. The transportation, tea houses, airport pickup and the first night in Kathmandu was all arranged by Karna and Ashmita and i had an amazing time. I was also a bit worried about the food since i am vegan, but i got very well fed with delicious vegan curries, Dal Bhat and very apple porridge along the way. I am more then happy, that i did the trip especially since i even i case of landslides or bad weather conditions, i felt always well guided and very cared!

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Memorable Manaslu Circuit Experience

  This is the 3rd time we engaged the service of Nepal Mother House for our treks in the Himalayans. In 2019, we went to EBC; then in 2023 to ABC, and recently to the Manaslu circuit trek. The Manaslu region is not as commercialised as the EBC and ABC route, yet our tour operator and guide went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible each day. During the first few days of the hike, I wasn’t feeling my best, but our guide Jayram Magar, showed genuine care, walking beside me, reminding me to eat, rest and stay hydrated. His calm presence and experience really made a difference. Each evening he gave us a detailed briefing about the next day’s trail and what to expect, which helped us prepare both mentally and physically Crossing the Larke La Pass was definitely the highlight — tough but incredibly rewarding. We couldn’t have done it without the guidance and support of our amazing team. The porters were wonderful too — always cheerful, attentive, and making sure we were safe every step of the way. Thank you to Karna, Jayram and the porters for making this journey safe, smooth, and truly unforgettable

  

  

  

• Manaslu Circuit Trek, Nepal - Fantastic Experience

  We just completed our third trek in Nepal with Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition to the Manaslu region. It was a pleasure to make the arrangements with Mr. Karna as he knew what our expectations were. He is very attentive and made all the ground arrangements from airport pickup, hotel accommodations at Kathmandu, trekking permits to the Manaslu and Annapurna Conservation Areas, transport from Kathmandu to Jagat and back from Tilje and finally sending us back to the airport. We were fortunate to have Jayram as our guide again. We had trekked with him to EBC and ABC earlier and so it was great to meet and catch up with him. He is a very caring and helpful guide to trek with and quite chatty when you get to know him. He made sure our accommodations were comfortable during our trek and kept a watchful eye over us. He pointed out the various landmarks as we trekked and also certain plants which were endemic to the area. He briefed us every evening to our route for the following day, duration of trekking and general conditions to expect. We had Deepak, Ganesh and Kishore as our porters and they lighten our load and made the trek enjoyable. They went out of their way many times to ensure our safety. We were caught in the tail end of the monsoon and most of the streams were running full. The three of them helped us across many times and even rolling extra boulders into the streams for better footholds. They friendly banter kept us entertained on trek and in the evenings at the tea houses. It was a real sense of achievement when we made Larke Pass especially when one of us was 70 years of age!! Thank you all for making this journey a happy and memorable one. We look forward to our next trek soon with Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition.

  

  

  

  

  

• Highly Recommended Trekking Company

  Our guide, Jayram is more than a guide as he understands us well as he carefully observed and planned our trek on daily basis to ensure our success to cross the Larkya Pass. Backgrounds of our team which comprises of 4 members whom are not very athletics but we do exercise once in a while. Our ages are 44, 61, 63 and 70. This is the third time we joined Nepal Mother Treks & Expeditions. 2019 - Everest Base Camp 2023 - Annapurna Base Camp 2025 - Manaslu Circuit Trek Karna, the in-charge of the company is helpful, responsible and trustworthy person. Jayram, a very experience guide and 100% reliable and responsible. He guided us on all 3 treks He DOESN'T lie... The porters and assistant guide in all our treks are extremely helpful and good.
