The tour starts with the first stop on the shore of Boa Viagem, then Recife, with a stop at ground zero, Rua do Bom Jesus, embassy of giant puppets and embassy of Pernambuco (a kind of wax museum), then a panoramic tour of the palace from the field of princesses, the Santa Isabel Theater and the Palace of Justice. Next stop is the house of culture, an old prison whose cells are now small craft shops. Have lunch in Recife or on the edge of Olinda, in Olinda we'll go to the top of the Cathedral, passing by the Franciscan convent, stop to visit the handicraft shops, observe the view of Recife, then follow the Ladeira da Misericordia, pass by the residence from the famous singer and composer Alceu Valença, we will make a stop at the Monastery of São Bento Church which has the altar all foliated in 22k gold. We end the tour by heading to the place of origin or destination.

Panoramic tour by car and on foot on the slopes of Olinda Alto da Se where the mother church is located. It is the largest 16th century church in Brazil, and the oldest in Olinda, founded in 1540. Most of the tour is a panoramic view. There is some walking involved but it is not tiring. Our tour guide Janilso Silva went above and beyond. So much historic knowledge. He was so patient and caring. This tour it a must if you are in Recife. Our family loved it. We have 2 teenagers and they enjoyed it.

The tour of Recife and Olinda is a must-see, especially for those who visit the region for the first time! Our guide, Joselito, guided us through a rich scenario in the ancient Recife, exploring various points such as the museums of Giant Dolls, the sculptures of Brennand and the Marco Zero, where we also could appreciate the exhibition of Sebastião Salgado. Next, we head to the charming Olinda, where the Church of the See, the handicraft fairs, the iconic Casa de Alceu Valença, among other attractions stand out. Despite the limited time to absorb so much history and culture, the tour is extremely rich and worth every minute!

They sold me the private car tour to recife and Olinda with a guide in Spanish. Beyond that the place is beautiful and we passed very well, the guide was not in Spanish. I understood hardly if we spoke slowly. He spoke almost no words in Spanish. When I asked him a question in Spanish he was blocked because he did not understand me. That doesn’t mean that He did a very good job within his means, it’s not his fault that they put him in an awkward situation. On the other hand we were never told at the agency that that day was a holiday and therefore almost all the things we visited were closed. We couldn’t get into several places that even passed me the cost I was going to have to get into each one. They never told me not to because it was gonna be all closed. Really the agency a mess, the tour very good, the restaurant where they took us very good and the guide took care of getting us perhaps the best table in the place.

The tour was excellent, the Guide Joselito was very helpful, helped us throughout the journey with my wife's disability, took great photos and was very fun. The walk was much better than we expected. The cultural richness in Olinda and Recife is amazing!
