Come explore some of Southern Utah's most unique slot canyons!
This tour begins with a thrilling ride in a customized off-road machine leading to a slot canyon, which is privately accessed and far from any paved roads. Once at the canyon's mouth, the hike begins. The red canyon walls stretch over 100 -feet high on either side, with a gap of only 6-10 feet between the walls to hike through.
Led by a guide and local expert, the tour continues on foot through the canyon while learning about Native American history and geographical information.
This tour is specific for groups that do not desire to climb, and when the canyon gets too difficult the group will hike back to the UTV and travel to a separate slot canyon and explore the bottom section of it as well.

John and Lonnie were awesome guides. Knowledgeable, courteous and professional. We are sooo glad we picked this tour to do. The slot canyons are breath taking and we didn't have to hike very far to experience them. You can get something to eat n drink before...and i highly recommend the chocolate croissant! I would definitely choose these guys again!

Tour was excellent. The tour guide was personable, helpful, knowledgeable…took pictures of us. They accommodated us by understanding motion sickness was a potential by seating us such that we could easily turn back. The ride was rough but tolerable.

The slot canyon tour with John has been the highlight of our stay in Utah. I've always wanted to see the slot canyons in real life and this did not disappoint. John was super knowledgeable and took the time to educate us along the way. We had a mishap with photography at our wedding and he showed off his talent while taking professional looking pictures of us. We are so grateful to have these beautiful shots and they are definitely going on display in our home. I cannot imagine having a better guide and we can't wait to come back!

ABSOLUTELY LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE!!! Today we booked a tour with East Zion Adventures and took a 2 hour ATV tour to two different Slot Canyons in Southern Utah!!!!! First, this company ROCKS (pun intended)!!! They were so professional, and our guide John was ADORABLE!! What a sweet fella, loaded with tons of native and local knowledge, little tidbits, and year of experience leading these tours. He took a lot of time to stop and tell us about history, geology, culture, native animals, the science behind the structures, the mountains, the grand staircase, and the journey to get there. He even insisted that we could throw our hands up during the ride, exclaim "WEEEEEEEEE" or anything else we needed to do, so we did. The ATV ride was an EPIC rush in and of itself. Part 2 of the killer tour with East Zion Adventures was going inside ElkHeart Cliffs Slot Canyon!!! We saw more of my absolute favorite "Halloween Mountains" in stunning orange and black contrast! John even pointed out a small rock he picked up off the ground of the fossil bed, and put on top of a larger rock, 3 years ago, and showed us the fossils in it! The sun piercing into the canyon, the red rocks, the striations, the layers of color, the curves and bowls and swoops that the water and ice melt have caused over thousands of years. It's hard to wrap your mind around it. Oh. My. God. What even IS THIS?!?! So amazing! The tour guides even showed us all how to get amazing panoramic north to south photos of the slot canyons and how to get the best pics in there. Most of this is purely capturing the natural light. Absolutely breathtaking. This is one of the coolest things I've ever done in my life (and I've done a LOT of cool stuff)!!! Red Canyon or Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon was the second slot canyon we saw today. This time John even pointed out VERY old cave drawings. Even the earliest native tribes here, the Southern Paiute/Pahutes people, spoke about these drawings having already been here a long time before. So these drawings are VERY ancient, and while no one truly knows what they mean, this was clearly marking the entrance to a very sacred place. No debating that. When I told John we had spent the previous two days in Bryce, and fell in love with the Hoodoos and the other-worldy landscapes there, he even explained that the Paiute people referred to these formations as “oo’doo,” meaning "ghosts" or "spirits" or "petrified people." Since I already posted that everywhere you look out there, you see groups of people, or faces or bodies, yeah, I 100% can see that the ancestors and ancients saw these as spirits or ghosts frozen in time. They're still there. This tour is EVERYTHING. Absolute perfection. Thank you, sincerely.

Kevin was a top notch tour guide! Even though it was pouring rain during our trek out to the slot canyon, the skies cleared & we ended up having such a great time! Kevin shared so much info about the area & taught our kids the history of the slot canyons. It was a great afternoon!

Absolutely beautiful Slot canyon! Few other people because it's on private land, so lots of time and opportunity to take stunning pictures of the canyon. Fun ATV ride to get there and back. Very bumpy, and chilly for the few minutes we were out on the highway. It was also cooler in the canyon where it was shady. Glad we wore layers. Dog friendly tour - they supplied a large sturdy kennel fastened in back of the ATV. Hike wasn't long but sturdy shoes are good because of rocky/sandy footing. Mark was great company. Knows his stuff. He took some great photos of us. Not sure which my husband enjoyed more - the ATVing, the canyon or the photography. Highly recommend this tour!
