  Really great day-trip from Helsinki and well worth the amount you pay. Olli was a great tour guide and with snow from the previous night made the day of floating in the icy water, walking on ice and the hovercraft trip all the more better than it already was. Expectations were exceeded.

  We had the experience to ourselves, Ollie was a fantastic guide with local knowledge. It was an incredible nature and ‘postcard’ experience only 30mins from Helsinki. Kids loved floating around in the survival suit and Tobias was kind enough to let them have a turn of driving the ice breaker boat which topped off an awesome experience. We were also lucky enough to see deer grazing on the lawn of a summer house which was exciting for our kids to see.

  We had a wonderful time on our tour with Olli, Tobias, and Maelys. Olli was a fantastic guide and we loved our survival suit experience. He talked us through all of it, made us comfortable, and taught us survival techniques for actual emergencies. The entire experience was fun and relaxing. Lunch, cooked by the captain of our boat, Tobias, was wonderfully warm and enjoyable. We especially enjoyed learning that Jaffa cakes were the most Finnish, non-Finnish snack.   This experience was amazing from beginning to end! The whole crew was great. I never thought I would add floating in a survival suit in the freezing Baltic to my list of experiences. But to add to that, we got to our floating location aboard a boat that can break up ice and glided along that ice sheet in what I've taken to calling "Our Teletubbie Suits." But even that wasn't the end of the adventure --- we took a joy ride on a hovercraft! We finished off our excursion with a light lunch on the boat dock and a walk on the island of Simsalo. Olli gave us a peek into life in an area of Finland that comes alive in the summer and is hushed in the winter. It was a unique and fun adventure. I feel like we saw a part of Finland that many visitors don't typically see.

  I had the most amazing time during the ice experience. The scenery was magnificent, and I loved floating in the icy water. The fellow group participants were lovely, and the group size was perfect. Everyone involved in running the event was wonderful: Olli, Carl-Johan, Kennett, Robert, Kim, and Leif (apologies if I may have missed anyone or misspelt any names). Thank you all so much for such a memorable experience.

  Must do- this is an absolutely fantastic experience! From the exhilaration of standing on the edge of an ice sheet to the relaxed floating in icy waters amongst the floating ice. Simply amazing. Ollie our guide was fantastic. And thanks to Sam, very handy with the icebreaker boat & photo taking and of course Rob with hovercraft skills!

  We had a great time on our excursion and were very well taken care of by Olli and the team! His salmon soup was delicious and the floating in the survival suit was a one of a kind experience. They even took pictures of us while we were out in the water and sent them to us that same evening. Our family, including kids 8, 9 and 10 loved every minute of the trip - I highly recommend it!

  Booked this excursion because it looked special and unique. has exceeded all expectations. super cool people from Calle who picked us up at the hotel, Marko who guided and explained us the entire time to Robert who drove the craft. big compliments to this organization. Really worth the money for those who want something slightly different than the standard excursions. Best regards Patrick and Katrien.

  Great experience from start to finish! New adventures with the hovercraft/ice float, yummy food on an open fire, good information, beautiful landscapes & extremely kind people.
