Olga was fantastic. 3.5 hours of hidden history around Regensburg. Olga is fluent in English and extremely knowledgeable. I had no idea of the depth of the history here. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Regensburg. It is well worth the time!

Alexandra eas filled with information, funny and happy to be flexible. We had told her that we had a short tour from our cruise and she was more than happy to ask us if we had heard about the things she was telling us and if we had, she pivoted to something else. We learned so much more than we ever expected to about Regensburg and had bought yummy sausage to top it off. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to get a sense of the whole city and not just the touristy area

Alexandra was incredibly informative, funny and flexible. We had seen some of the standard sites in Regensburg already and she was able to pivot to show us other things and give us in depth information that we never expected.

We are three couples in our 60s who toured with Olga. Olga is a very knowledgeable guide and a great person. The went for about 4 hrs but the time flew by. We saw amazing churches and frescos, interesting street art and talked about people important to Regensburg’s history. We’ve seen so much! And we absolutely loved what we saw. Olga showed us local restaurants with history and gave insights in regional food. We went to the two of these restaurants and absolutely loved the food. What a fabulous tour in a beautiful city!

We are 2 couples in our mid 70’s and had a wonderful tour with Olga yesterday! She is incredibly knowledgeable about a thousand years of history here and explains everything very clearly and with some great stories. We’ve traveled extensively in Europe and elsewhere in the world and she is one of the best guides we’ve had anywhere. All four of us highly recommend a private tour with Olga, you will love it!

The tour was fantastic! I booked it on Fri. 15 Aug. 2025 which coincided with a public holiday in Bavaria (Maria Himmelfährt). As a result, Regensburg was pretty empty. My husband and I were the only ones that signed up for this tour on this date so it felt like a VIP experience as we were guided around a quiet, half-empty city by our tour guide, Alex. She was SO knowledgeable about Regensburg and its history! It was really interesting to learn about the significance of the city’s various landmarks and monuments within the context of its changing religious and political landscape. It also helped create a personal connection to what we were seeing that was really special. In addition to the standard tour, Alex did a great job addressing our particular interests while answering all our questions. She showed us a crypt at the St. Emmeram Basilika where she explained the differences between Romanesque vs. Gothic architectural styles as well as the interior of New Parish Church (not as severe nor plain as you’d usually expect for a protestant church!). She pointed out various restaurants as we walked through the city. We had dinner at 2 of her recommendations (Bolero - Spanish tapas & Orphee - French cuisine) that and the following evening. The meals and cocktails at both were delicious (Bolero: Ensalada de mariscos, Boquerones fritos, Surf & Turf, & Costillas de cordero; Orphee: Escargot, Coq au vin & Fromage de Brebis Corse)! It was our first time in Regensburg and this tour was the highlight of our trip - highly recommend!

We booked two tours with them - Jewish Regensburg and Regensburg. Personalities, Art and Food. We thoroughly enjoyed the both. Alexandra is a very knowledgeable guide and a very nice person. We tried the Regensburger sausage at the end of the tour at the very historic Sausage Kitchen, the sausage and the bun were delicious. Alexandra is a great story teller and a fluent English speaker. Her history knowledge is impressive and the stories she told us were most interesting. With the two tours we explored general history, Jewish history and got a feel for a contemporary life in Regensburg. Thank you, Alexandra! We enjoyed our time with you.
