We would like to invite you to visit our Sámi camp and join us for a family-friendly reindeer interaction tour surrounded by stunning scenery and the famous Lyngen Alp mountains. Lunch and busride is included in the price.

You will participate in the daily feeding session of the cutest herd of reindeer at our camp, and here you will have plenty of time to get up-close and personal with our charming creatures. You will also be welcomed into our lavvu (Sami tent) to warm up when needed and there you will be served a range of hot beverages to drink (coffee, tea, chocolate) and a hot meal for lunch. Our expert guide will tell you about the fascinating reindeer and share some secrets about how to survive life in an extreme Arctic nature.

We loved feeding the reindeer in the snowstorm! The animals were very gentle and hungry. The warming huts were nice and the stew fantastic. We learned about the Sami culture and had a few laughs. 10 out of 10 would do this again.

What an unforgettable experience to spend time with reindeer while also learning about Sami culture. The whole experience is very well run and both of the Sami guides on site were highly knowledgeable and willing to interact with visitors. I learned so much, especially from Jon. Highly recommend!

We had the most fun feeding the reindeer and had a good hour just to roam around the farm with the animals. It is therapeutic for the soul! This was followed by spending another hour in the warm cabin having delicious reindeer stew and then an informative talk by our Sami guide John-Michael - whose full name I couldn’t memorise however many times he repeated it. The joiking was an unexpected surprise which definitely made an impression on us. I was looking forward to buying a few souvenirs from the shop but this was very limited unfortunately. Then finally we had a comfortable 3/4 hour ride back to Tromso. Very contented 😊

Really well run operation. Pickup was on time, the camp was only 40 min outside of Tromso and we got to feed so many reindeer! They have a herd of 71 reindeer to feed and this was a really fun experience. When you get there, you put the shoe covers on and get to feed them right away. After that, you get soup (either reindeer or vegetable) and listen to Sami history.

This was the best tour in 6-8 years we have been cruising! FUN, AFFORDABLE, ( a price of less than half of others), HANDS ON ( feeding the deer), INFORMATIVE ( hearing stories about the SAMI) and DELICIOUS ( the reindeer stew)! The staff was kind, helpfully and creative! We are encouraged to use your company again!
