You will get the opportunity to know the Sami culture and join a pleasant Reindeer Sledding in beautiful North Norwegian nature.
Saami are the indigenous people of the North and our Sami guide would like you to get to know his culture better, both past, present and future, through tasting some typical Sami food, seeing Sami artifacts and hearing stories and traditional Sami singing.
* If conditions change we keep the right to amend the duration of the sled-ride.
* All animals used for these services are trained for the activity, however, the behavior of animals can be unpredictable and therefore it is essential that all participants follow all given instructions for their safety, and the safety of others.
*Each reindeer and sled are bound together in a long row with the lead reindeer in the front.
* Sleds are shared, 2 participants on one sled.
*Reindeer Sledding is subject to snow and if weather conditions don't allow us to run the sled-ride we will offer you a partial refund.

*IMPORTANT: The Reindeer Sledding (30 minutes activity) is subject to good snow conditions and sometimes we have to adjust the duration of this activity. If the weather does not allow us to run the sled-ride at all, we will offer you a partial refund. The rest of the tour will be held as normal.

5.00The reindeer were lovely. How gentle these animals are! Of course, as we had food for them, there was a lot of interest :) After a break with hot food and tea/coffee, we could learn more about the life of and with reindeer, but also about the culture of Sámi people. All in all, a very good experience. PS. Due to weather conditions, the sledding part of the experience was cancelled and reimbursed. I was given the opportunity to cancel the whole tour but I decided to join it anyway, as I was mostly interested in interacting with the reindeer and learning more about the Sámi culture. I am very glad I did!

4.00Beautiful ride with reindeer sleigh ride in the night and then great warm bidos in a tent in Sami village. Our host told us about Sami culture enriching the story with anecdotes of himself and his family! Really interesting!!!!

4.00The sleigh ride was cancelled a week before due to sick/retired animals. But the partial refund arrived well and quickly. The rest was very nice. We were able to pet some reindeer popos and had a lot of time to feed. That was the most important thing to us. The Sami info was exciting and the food quite okay. You have to know that with 2 coaches full of people you arrive and leave there 50-60 min.

4.00Transport, organization, Sami people, cultural talk, reindeer feeding, camp were all excellent and worth the tour. The vegetarian/vegan meal of light vegetable soup not equal to the thick, deer meat, potato, carrot stew. Need a veg stew just minus the meet.a

5.00Dream came true! enjoyed the moment from beginning till the end. All staff were friendly and easy going. feeding reindeer was such as an experience and to see them from so close was just a dream. Sleed with reindeer was a fairytail! we loved it. and the serrounding was just an fenomenal!
