Enjoy three nights in Reykjavík with a relaxing Iceland Stopover Tour. Your trip includes a guided day exploring the famous Golden Circle, where you’ll visit Þingvellir National Park, the erupting Strokkur geyser, and the stunning Gullfoss waterfall.
You can also choose to add a separate day tour to the Blue Lagoon, where geothermal waters surrounded by lava fields provide a truly unique spa experience.
On winter evenings, you have the option of joining a Northern Lights hunt, with expert guides selecting the best countryside viewing spots based on weather and aurora forecasts. A perfect mix of culture, nature, and relaxation.
Room Allocation: Guests booking for one person will be accommodated in a single room. Bookings for two persons will be placed in a double room. Bookings for three persons will be accommodated in a double room with an extra bed or a triple room, depending on availability.

Discover Iceland’s most famous sightseeing route — the Golden Circle — a must-see for first-time visitors. Highlights include the dramatic landscape of Þingvellir National Park, the regularly erupting Strokkur geyser, and the breathtaking Gullfoss waterfall, often framed in winter ice. We start the day at Þingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Known for its dramatic landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and historical significance as the site of Iceland’s first parliament, it offers both natural beauty and cultural depth. Note: The Golden Circle Tour operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Therefore, it may not always take place on day 2 of your trip — the exact day will depend on which weekday you book. This will also determine the order of any optional tours you choose to include in your itinerary.
Geysir
The Geysir Geothermal Area is home to steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and the famous Strokkur geyser, which erupts every few minutes. Visitors can experience Iceland’s geothermal power up close in this lively and ever-changing landscape.
Gullfoss Falls
Gullfoss, or the “Golden Falls,” is one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Cascading in two dramatic stages into a rugged canyon, it creates powerful mist and rainbows on sunny days, making it a highlight of the Golden Circle route.
Reykjavik
For those travelling in the darker months, you may choose to add a Northern Lights excursion, guided by local experts who will take you to the best possible viewing spots away from city lights. This optional evening tour is typically scheduled for your second night, with flexibility to move to later evenings if conditions are not favourable.

Seeing Iceland through the eyes of a local made all the difference, and our guide, Thorir, was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of his country. You could feel how much he cared about giving us the best experience possible. We saw incredible sights, learned so much, and felt taken care of every step of the way. I can’t recommend Snæland Travel enough. If you’re visiting Iceland, do yourself a favor and book with them and definitely ask for Thorir. You’ll be in great hands.
