Renting a motorbike, scooter or ATV is the most convenient and economical way to get to know the island of Ometepe. You have your time, and you go where you want without affecting the time factor. We give you map of Ometepe and we recommend the best places to visit, we also give you helmets, the full tank of gasoline which you must return full again. Our bikes are in excellent condition and we are responsible for any mechanical or electrical problems.

5.00Really can’t speak highly enough of Green Expeditions. Due to restrictions on my travel insurance, I had to communicate with them to make sure that I got a suitable scooter, and they were great. When I arrived on Ometepe, I discovered that my accommodation was not in Moyogalpa and so asked if they could bring my bike to me..no problem! A lovely young man delivered the bike to me and gave me a lesson in perfect English. The bike was great. They then picked up the bike from my accommodation at my requested time AND then returned my $100 deposit that I completely forgot about!!
Nice way to get around.

5.00The shop was close to the port and when I arrived they had the bike ready for me - clean, fueled, and it functioned fine. I road it around the entire island and enjoyed having the freedom to go wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted to. I think it was well worth the $25 fee. Also, when I returned it, they informed me that a ferry would be leaving in a few minutes. This saved me hours because I had been given a different ferry schedule and with their info, quickly got on the ferry.

5.00We rented a motorbike for 2 days and enjoyed it so much we extended it to 3. It was a great way to see the island easily. The bike was in excellent condition, the team were very helpful and allowed us to trial out driving different bikes before we chose one. We paid a very reasonable price and the Green Expeditions team were very contactable via WhatsApp if we had any questions. Would highly recommend this company if you are planning to rent a bike/ scooter in ometepe!

5.00Highly Recommend!! We hit a rock in the road and unfortunately incurred some damages/scratches to the moped. The owner was very kind and understanding, and was very fair and honest when it came to paying for the damages. From start to finish he was helpful and respectful!

5.00We rented a bike without any problems. They delivered it to the hotel and after renting it was taken back. The bike was in very good condition. We drove all over the island. We are satisfied and highly recommend this company. They are number one on the island.

5.00We hired a scooter for 2 days and hiked volcano Concepcion with Green expeditions Ometepe. They did everything they could to make our stay in Ometepe as nice as possible. Would definitely recommend.
