The Republic of Moldova was Soviet for almost 50 years and it has left its mark, one is Transnistria. And why not a trip to the pro-Russian separatist region of Transnistria? A small return to the USSR for a day, to say "I was there" .., to discover a territory without territory ... .., a country without a country ...

The political situation is still complex today with Moldova, the tension is palpable but not dangerous for a foreign tourist. Visiting Transnistria is possible because it is not instinctively against tourism.

The city Bender also called Tighina is the second largest city in Transnistria that attracts thanks to its medieval fortress - one of the most powerful elements of the grandiose defensive system of medieval Moldova.

Great way to see the most interesting sites in Moldova. With Natalia we visited Transnistria, Milestii Mici winery, Chisinau, Cricova winery, Curchi monastery and old Orhei village. All sites were great and Natalia was a very dedicated, flexible, reliable and thoughtful tour guide. She made every effort to ensure we had a special experience of the sights. Excellent day with Lilya and the rest of the group. In the current information, have often said who to be careful and that it is dangerous to stay in Transnistria. Well, I can tell you that it is quite the opposite and that it is a destination that greatly deserves to make the step. It was a day full of stories that Lilya was very effective in her role. Fantastic tour to Transnistria crossing the border our guide Slava is a great guy who explained all the relevant history and had great knowledge took us through main attractions of the city. Unfortunately it was an icy cold day with snow and bit of ice storms and could not visit inside the Bender castle even though we went to the site. We had a unforgettable local lunch at the Tiraspol capital of Transnistria and visited many statues of Vladimir Lenin. I would definitely recommend this tour to get past experience of our history.

Very good and fun trip and more importantly, a safe trip. The guide was excellent and so was his English. Gave us a historical account of Moldova and Transnistria. The guide also gave us the opportunity to buy souvenirs.

Nice tour that allows you to see a different side of Moldova. It is a mix between the Past and the Present. Bonus for me was the museum of torture.

Interesting trip into a time warp with an entertaining guide. (Just recommend him to refrain from anti-LGBT quips - his clients may be LGBT themselves).
