We are happy to cater a little to your preferences for beer or spirits but at the same time encourage you to be adventurous.
You don’t have to be a special beer lover to have fun on our tour and maybe you will even be introduced to a beer style you will love.

5.00Our Beer Tasting Tour with Garðar was an absolute highlight of our time in Reykjavík. We genuinely enjoyed every pour (even the one that wasn’t our personal favorite was still interesting and well chosen!) and came away with a much deeper appreciation for Icelandic beer and brewing culture. Garðar effortlessly blended beer knowledge with stories about Reykjavík, Icelandic history, and everyday life here, so it felt like we were getting both a tasting and a mini cultural tour at the same time. His enthusiasm, humor, and clear love for his city and its beers made the experience feel warm, welcoming, and memorable from start to finish. I personally appreciated the warnings about the tourist traps and information about local swimming culture. I would highly recommend this tour with Garðar to anyone who loves beer and wants to learn more about the local culture and people! ... And drink beer. Can't forget the beer.

5.00This was such a fun evening out in Reykjavik! Our guide Kristjan was a blast! Our group was small, we visited 3 bars, we each found something we liked at each place. Kris told the tales of the history and prohibition of beer and alcohol in Iceland. He brought along different Icelandic candies for us to try as well, we liked them so much we found them in town to bring home. Kris was so patient with us and engaging, answering all our questions about life in Iceland, it felt like we were just out on the town with a good friend and didn't want the night to end! Five Stars!

5.00I really enjoyed the Reykjavík Beer & Booze Tour—it’s a fun and social way to meet fellow travelers while trying some great local beers and spirits. 🍻 The atmosphere was relaxed, and the tastings were a perfect mix of flavors and stories. Our guide, Garðar, was excellent—super friendly and full of insight about growing up and living in Iceland, which added a personal touch to the evening. All in all, a great experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out in Reykjavík.

5.00I had an amazing time on the Beer & Booze tour! The drinks were fantastic, but what really made it special was our guide, Stefán. He wasn’t just knowledgeable about Iceland’s beer and restaurants - he also shared a ton of fascinating history about the country along the way. His energy, humor, and storytelling made the whole experience both fun and memorable. If you’re visiting Iceland and want a tour that’s both educational and entertaining, I can’t recommend this one enough!
