We joined the food tour with a group of 6 extended family members and Bonnie was fabulous. Her English is perfect, even down to mimicking local accents. She tells great stories about the food, Iceland, and everything in between. It was a wonderful experience and she was very accommodating to all food issues (e.g. vegetarian, etc).

This one on of the best experiences we have had in Iceland. Haddy was an exceptional guide who's knowledge, whit, humor and attention to details elevated this experience to the next level. His trainee Freys was also extremely knowledgeable and is going to make a great guide. We could not have asked for a better or more delicious way to spend an evening in Reykjavik.

My friend and I visited Iceland from Texas and joined this food tour in Reykjavik. It was one of our favorite things from our trip! All of the food choices were delicious and we enjoyed trying local dishes/restaurants that we wouldn’t have known about. I liked that the foods were a mix of casual to fine dining to drinks to desserts. Dagur was an amazing guide — he was knowledgeable of the food and the city, very friendly, and funny. We really enjoyed hearing from him about the dishes, different areas of the city as we walked from restaurant to restaurant, Icelandic culture/history, and he did a great job at answering all of our questions about the dishes and other questions we had about Iceland/Reykjavik. He also sent a very helpful email after the tour that had all of the names of the foods/restaurants we visited for future references, as well as further recommendations. Overall, awesome tour with an awesome guide!

In good company of strangers we had a memorable and highly tasteful Icelandic food experience all over Reykjavik. Our local foodie Dagur manoeuvred us to different hotspots and delicious dishes. Good way to make it an event memorable for life is to chew on the fermented shark and wash it down with a shot of Black Death. Thanks Dagur and company of strangers!

We had a great time on our food walk! Alfie, our guide, was very funny and kept us all organized. We had a group of 12, all from the US, and it was a very fun group. This is a good thing to do as we had just arrived that morning and it helped us to get around Reyjkavik. The food was amazing, except for the fermented shark. I wished we had learned a bit more about Iceland and Reyjkavik but perhaps that is a different tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland for the first time. It was one of the best things we did during our week long visit to Iceland.

Haddy was an EXCELLENT guide! The length of the tour was perfect and we got a good insight into Icelandic food and culture. As far as the price, it was definitely worth it. We were able to buy other drinks at each location, with recommendations by Haddy of course. I would highly suggest taking this tour during your visit to Iceland. It was great to have a smaller group and ask plenty of questions for more insight. It was one of the best parts of our trip. Hands down!

This tour was amazing. We had Stevie as our guide and he did not disappoint! He’s incredibly personable, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and cheerful. He shared a ton of local history, national history, and funny anecdotes. He made the entire group feel welcome and always kept the conversation going. The food was amazing. We had braised lamb, cured arctic char, pan fried arctic char with honey and butter, a cod and potato dish that has no English translation, rye bread with butter, the world famous hot dog, rotten, fermented shark meat, brenevin, lamb stew, and finished it all up with ice cream mixed with rye bread. Show up hungry and curious and you will leave entirely satisfied!! 10 out of 10, no notes, would totally do again! Thanks Stevie!! ~Will

The Reykjavik Food Walk was excellent and our guide, Mimir, was also excellent. I really appreciated the variety of restaurants. The crowd size is just right for the tour and I thought the experience was well worth the admission fee.
