Informative and funny walking tour around Reykjavik in a small group. Famous landmarks are visited, history of the city is brought to life and you are introduced to local culture. The tour starts on the highest elevated point in town, is wheelchair accessible and all downhill, also ideal for children. The small size of the group makes it flexible for stops indoors in cold weather and the lengthy tour makes it relaxed as if you are with a new Icelandic friend. Really done to earth easy-going tour of the city that gave me a lot of reasons to admire both Iceland and Reykjavík. I would highly recommend it and it’s especially wonderful when a cat shows up during the tour.

Our tour guide Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history, and his well-timed jokes made the walk both engaging and memorable. Don’t miss the story about the myth of how Middle Earth was formed—it’s especially fascinating. The walk itself was easy and enjoyable, made even better by the beautiful sunny weather. This tour is a must if you’re looking for a quick but enriching introduction to the island’s history.

A brilliant way to get to know Reykjavik! Ryan was an amazing guide; informative and also amusing. We'd been to Reykjavik before but hadn't really got to know its full history plus there were bits we hadn't been to. The sandwich shop and hot dog recommendations were also useful later. And Ryan was very patient and accepting of some of us breaking away from the tour when we rounded a corner to find the Lionesses just emerging from their hotel! All in all, a very fun way to get to know the city. Would thoroughly recommend to first time visitors or even second.
