Røvær Island – A Hidden Gem off Haugesund Just 10 km northwest of Haugesund lies Røvær, a small island community with around 100 residents. This scenic archipelago offers a peaceful glimpse of coastal life, with charming boathouses, a cultural hotel, and friendly locals. Visitors can explore walking trails, learn about Viking and wartime history, and enjoy panoramic sea views from Varden, the island’s highest point, where a WWII pillbox still stands. Please note that weather conditions may occasionally require an alternative route for safety and comfort.
Feøy – A Peaceful Island Escape near Haugesund Just west of Haugesund lies Feøy, a tranquil island group known for its unspoiled nature and strong coastal traditions. With around 50 year-round residents, Feøy offers a glimpse of authentic island life as you pass by on your RIB adventure. From the sea, you’ll spot traditional boathouses, the charming Feøy Brygge – once an old wharf, now a meeting place and restaurant – and open landscapes where sheep graze near the shore. During World War II, German forces occupied the island due to its key role in the Norwegian resistance network. Today, Feøy remains a peaceful community surrounded by sea, history, and natural beauty.

5.00This trip was such good fun! We were lucky and had a beautiful blue sky day so didn’t get wet at all. Joe was an excellent guide. Would recommend bringing sunglasses or asking for goggles so you can see a bit better as it is FAST!

5.00Absolutely brilliant experience, very well organised and friendly service. Thrilling and informative adventure. Much better set up for rib boat excursion than I saw at other ports. So close and easy to get to from cruise port, 5 min walk. Do not hesitate to book.

5.00We did a RIB boat tour in Haugesund and it was just an unforgettable experience! It was incredibly fun and at the same time a real adventure. Partly it felt like flying or racing over the water on a roller coaster – pure adrenaline! In addition to all the thrills, we also got exciting information about the surrounding communities and the region, which made the tour even more varied. Our guide was super friendly, likeable and took great care of us. We felt very comfortable and safe all the time and would do this tour again at any time. Absolutely recommend!

5.00Great fun! Tour if the nearby islands with a trip into open water.We had good conditions and weather. Guide was very informative. Small group but it didn't diminish the experience with fast wave jumping.

4.00Was very cool but you need to know that it may be very rough and choppy out on the open sea. Nature of this kind of experience. Would have liked it longer and less on the choppy open waters and more going through the little waterways and inlets which was very cool. Overall, a fun experience.

5.00Fun trip, really enjoyable. Staff are all welcoming. Ride through small islands and given insight into what life is like living there. Finished with exhilarating spin in front of the cruise liner. Really professional setup, safety came first.
