Enjoy an exciting full day, possible “Big 5” photo safari shore excursion from Richard's Bay that is tailored to suit your ship's schedule. Travel north into the heart of Zululand to visit the oldest game reserve in South Africa, the Hluhluwe & Imfolozi Game Reserve. This reserve is host to the “Big 5” – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino – as well as many other exciting wildlife species. Around midday, you will be treated to a light lunch at one of the picnic spots in the reserve, then continue the safari for a few hours, before returning to port, cameras filled with footage of Africa’s wildlife at its best!

5.00Mdu was a terrific tour guide. He honored our request to find giraffes close up. It took 6 1/2 hours of searching the Hluhluwe Reserve and he found them. A group of 12 giraffes grazed 10 yards from us. Amazing trip, thanks Mdu!
