  This was not worth the time or money at all. We have enjoyed many tours and do like writing a negative review at all. But this was really just an uber to the railway with some random stops in between. There was nothing much to see from Park City to Heber Valley. As nice as our driver was, there was nothing more to share than what a local uber driver might mention about a new Park City Hospital and that Yellowstone filmed in the area for two seasons. But you’re not going to see that area as you only drive past a building that houses a film studio, and we couldn’t even figure out which building that was as we whizzed by. The railway ride is ok, better for families with young children. It is just a short ride thru some housing and along a reservoir until it reverses and goes back to station. The only real highlight is the fiddler, who played wonderfully. Back on the van, the stops on the return drive were the Heber “cheese tasting” which was nothing but a stop at a farm stand with chopped cheese in plastic dishes, it was not appealing in the slightest and there was no tour or presentation. And then the Crater - this was the only stop worth seeing and it took less than 10 minutes of the 4 hour afternoon. Finally, we went to a chocolate store that was closed for the day. In summary: if the railway appeals to you, drive or uber there and pay for a ticket to ride. If the crater appeals to you, drive or uber there and either just take a look inside or pay to take a swim. But you ought not pay for this tour, we were disappointed and frustrated to have spent the time and money.

  This is a charming trip with beautiful views. The staff were excellent but there were some issues with power that affected our carriage and the concession carriage. I’m sure it was just a one-off though. There are historical characters who visit each carriages and play act/tell jokes, plus there is a guide in each carriage to provide relevant information about the areas you pass through. It is a trip worth taking but I suggest you bring your own snacks.

  It was a great trip and it was beautiful, great value for the price we paid. the historical knowledge was jaw dropping. We enjoyed our guide Dave, he was excellent and made the trip fun.

  Our group had an absolutely wonderful experience on this train tour thanks to our guide, Mark! From the moment we met him, he was incredibly polite, welcoming, and personable, which immediately set the tone for a fun and relaxing experience. Mark shared fascinating history and fun facts about the town and surrounding area, which made the ride even more interesting and meaningful. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great time. What we especially appreciated was how flexible and accommodating he was with our group, allowing a bit of customization so we could make the experience even more memorable for us. That personal touch made all the difference! If you're considering this tour, I highly recommend it, and if you’re lucky enough to have Mark as your guide, you’re in for an exceptional experience. He truly made our trip unforgettable! The train ride itself was such a unique and enjoyable experience. It was wonderful to see local youth taking the lead, from warmly welcoming us aboard to sharing the tour narration and even providing entertainment with a talented fiddler. Their enthusiasm and pride in their community really added something special to the ride. The mountain views were absolutely beautiful, making the entire experience both relaxing and memorable.

  Fairly short amount of time you get to see so much of Park city, Heber city, Midway were such beautiful cities. Little Switzerland in Utah were so welcoming.

  The train ride was very relaxing and quite entertaining with the young lady playing the strings. The young boys were very knowledgeable about the tour sites.
