The top of the island is a place with privileged views, so it has an important flow of tourists at the usual times. We offer to ride to the highest of the island at sunset, a time when you will feel that there is no one but you on the whole island. Silence is part of the natural spectacle. And to get there, we ride in the middle of the forest and meadows, where it is very difficult to bump into other people. A feeling of being in the middle of the wild, revives the soul of the island.

Take a short ride to the ranch (20 minutes), enjoying the nature of the trail. Here you will meet your horse and the guide for the activity. Once introduced and given the first instructions, we begin the climb to Terevaka. At first we cross a eucalyptus forest where small birds live. Then we continue riding through the high meadows of the mountain, a perfect place to enjoy the view and the changing tones in the sunlight. Once at the top, the horses graze and we sit down to enjoy an open-air show. On the way back, the first stars appear and in the middle of the forest we reach the end of the route. Special route for beginners. Maximum 6 people. The weather can be quite unpredictable, it is a good idea to be prepared for some rain.

5.00Great experience. We were picked up from our hotel. Tonchi the owner and our guide was very insightful about the history of Rapa Nui. Additionally, he made sure everyone was comfortable with riding the horses. The views throughout the ride were great. Definitely recommend!

5.00Excellent experience. The owner Tonchi spoke English and was an excellent guide as I haven’t ridden a horse in a LONG time. The ride was beautiful. Riding through the eucalyptus forest was so cool. You had to take a moment and breathe the smell of the air. Getting to the peak was such a treat! This is a truly unique experience on the island as the only other known horse riding farm closed several year ago. I catch wait to see how this young entrepreneur’s ranch evolves over the years. Looking forward to riding the next time I’m in Easter Island. Such a special experience.

5.00We had the most amazing experience. The freedom to ride the horses along the island and up to the tallest point was something that we will all remember. The views were amazing and the guides were awesome. Such a fabulous experience!

1.00I definitely not recommend this company. I had been waiting in the hotel for 1 hour and I still wasn't picked up. I tried to contact the tour operator but didn't get any response. I felt very disappointed.

5.00Amazing experience! I was worried about riding back down the mountain in darkness but thankfully that wasn’t an issue. We rode about an hour to the top, spent some time there, and then rode back down before sunset. While on the ride the sun set and eventually once we made it back it was dark. Overall great experience!

5.00Despite being a terrible rider I had such a fun time. I was told I’d be picked up at 6pm and Alice arrived on time. The ranch is such a beautiful place, completely different than the rest of the island. You ride through a eucalyptus forest and beautiful rolling hills with cows and horses grassing freely. You walk up to the tallest point and watch the beginning of the sunset and get the enjoy it on your way back. Our guide (his name escapes me) wasn’t fluent in English, but he tried his best and could be understood. He stopped and took photos for us (another participant and I). The horses are beautiful and are so healthy. You can tell everyone who works there loves their job, maybe except for my stubborn horses 😜😜 I would 100% do this again and recommend you book this. Bonus: if you’re lucky you might spot some chickens, cat or dog. Warning: if you’re not an avid rider, be prepared to be sore. Bring as little as possible since you’ll be carrying it.

5.00This is great way to see the island and the unexpected views and beautiful vistas it offers. We very much enjoyed the ride with our guide and host and felt it was the perfect introduction to our Rapa Nui stay.

4.00This was not a ride to see sunset at the highest point. It was a lovely ride to the highest point way before sunset because it would be too dark to ride back if you stayed there for sunset. Since it was winter they picked us up at 3:30 not 6:30. Luckily, he gave us three hours notice and we weren’t on a whole day tour!

2.00Good Tour, guide Tonchi very nice and welcoming to tourists; However, Alice left a lot to be desired, she was the one who took us from the hotel to the place of the parade, from the beginning her attitude was dismissive towards us; then on the way back we needed to arrive on time for a show (since the tour had been promised to end at 7:40 p.m. at the hotel); However, it was delayed for reasons that we understood, despite having explained that we had to be at the place as soon as possible; She treated us contemptuously by asking her to please leave us at the show location, and made comments like: “ah, then walk away”; being that at no time were we disrespectful. As for Tonchi, his attention was excellent, he himself said don't worry, we'll leave them where they belong. Alice leaves a lot to be desired in her treatment of tourists
