West Mani has four gorges and Ridomo is for sure the most spectacular! Ridomo Gorge starts from the Taygetos ridgeline and fades into the Messinian Bay running all the way down to Sadova beach, forming a natural boundary of the western Mani. During our hike you will be more than impressed by the rich geologic features of the gorge, with its evident stratification of rocks, its burst of intense rock color palette, being in perfect match with its splendid greenery. This is an esoteric, almost mystical experience that we can hardly put into words. The adventure starts with a 30-minute drive with our vehicle from Kardamili, all the way up to Vorio village, where the hiking part starts. We walk downhill to reach the riverbed, entering a land of fairies! We leave the rest to your imagination! Lovers of adventure and vibrant colors will find Ridomo’s spirited ambience and rich landscape are not to be missed!

5.00The hike through the gorge was amazing. The guide (Smaro) was really nice, she told me all about the gorge and the history about some parts, gave me information about some plants and the area that the gorge is located in. It was an amazing hike with very beautiful nature. It was a breathtaking experience that i would love to do again. With a big thanks to Smaro for guiding me through the gorge with lots of interesting information.

5.00Such a Perfect Day ! Having been hiking for many years, this was our first guided hike and it was an amazing experience. Yanis and Smaro shared their love of nature and extensive knowledge of the local area, history and geology of the Ridomo Gorge with us. We didn’t meet anyone else on our hike through the stunning Gorge. We look forward to joining our guides for another hike on our next visit to Mani.

5.00Wonderful day of hiking with Ianis and Jorge. Must do/see in Mani. The hike is overall moderate, definitely need good hiking boots. Guides will help you to climb large rocks and show nice tricks. We learned a lot about the flora in the area. And needless to say, the scenery is spectacular

5.00Great experience! The tour guide Yannis was fantastic and told us a lot of background information and shared tips for moving through the gorge and doing the small climbs. We were picked up early in the morning in Stoupa, and we did not encounter a single other tourist during the hike through the gorge. We enjoyed the beautiful views and would recommend it to anyone. You don't have to be an athlete, but be aware that there are a couple of small climbs in the middle rocky section of the gorge.

5.00We left Stoupa before the sun was up with our tour guide, Yannis, for this amazing hike. He was very patent and told us about the gorge while walking it. It was a wonderful way to start the day.

5.00An amazing experience … Yanni & Sotiras were fantastic, guiding us along the way and pointing out the local geology, flora & fauna. Our group age ranged from 6 to 70 and somehow they managed to cater to everyone’s needs! Would highly recommend ..

5.00After arranging all details with lovely Sotiria at the Office which was very helpful and kind. Yiannis took us with his Geep to the Gorge. We had an Amazing experience. The trail is challenging The view is breathtaking and so unique! We got to some points which I didn’t know how am I going to pass ... but Yiannis made it easy with his patience and professionalism ,as if he is part of this rocks. He manage to reflect to us his love to nature and to the place. We had a lovely day and enjoyed every minute in this beautiful Gorge. Very recommended!!!
