  Gita was very informative of the history and culture of Riga and Latvia. I learned so much and got to see so many landmarks. I was keen to see the famous art nouveau buildings and Gita pointed out a lot of them and explained the history. I also appreciated her recommendations of the top 3 items to buy as souvenirs. And I liked how she asked at the beginning what we were looking forward to seeing in Riga and again at the end what our biggest impression was of Riga.

  We absolutely loved our walking tour in Riga! Our guide made the Old Town feel magical, full of stories, charm, and little hidden details we never would have discovered on our own. From the beautiful Town Hall Square to the stunning churches and cozy streets, every stop felt special because of the way she brought the history to life. We especially loved hearing the unbelievable story about St. Peter’s Church and learning why the flowers in Livu Square are always blue — those little details made the tour feel so personal and memorable. And of course, the adorable Cat House was one of our favorite moments! Finding the famous cat and hearing the funny story behind it made us smile the entire day. It’s those charming touches that made this tour stand out so much. Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about Riga. She also gave wonderful local tips at the end of the tour that made the rest of our stay even better. Thank you for such a lovely experience and for making us fall in love with Riga. We will remember this tour very fondly!

  Very informative on the old town of Riga There’s so much more that could have been included but maybe it wasn’t because the weather was rainy. Also a summary prior to walking around seemed a bit of overkill.

  Baiba was an excellent tour guide. Having lived in Latvia all her life she was quite knowledgeable and informative about Latvian history and culture. She provided a very pleasant tour and her English was excellent. Highly recommend!

  I had a fantastic experience on the Rigga Old Town walking tour with "Jimmy" from Go Penguin from the start, he brought so much energy and knowledge that made the whole area come alive in a way I wouldn’t have experienced on my own. Jimmy shared great insights into the history, culture, and hidden details of Al Rigga and the surrounding old town streets, while also keeping things fun and relaxed. The pace was comfortable, with plenty of time to take in the sights, ask questions, and enjoy the atmosphere. What really stood out was how personable and engaging Jimmy was he made me feel welcome and connected throughout the tour. It felt less like a guided tour and more like exploring the city with a friend who genuinely loves what he does. I’d highly recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting Dubai who wants a more authentic, local perspective of the old town area.
