We had a personal tour ( just the two of us with a guide) and it was worth every penny!! Our guide knew so much about the intricacies of how and why a painting was done- it was fascinating and I will never view a painting the same way again!! We saw the most famous works by various Dutch masters ( I.e. Vermeer, Hals) and even a painting by a young woman ( rare in the time period). Our guide made sure we could locate the museum’s rest rooms, coat room and the cafe… and told us what the other floors of the museum held. We could not have asked for a better museum experience and are so pleased that we had made tour arrangements well ahead of our visit to Amsterdam. Viator was an excellent organization to work with , good communications and took great pains to see that we had the very best experience at the z Rijksmuseum.

Max was an excellent tour guide. He added a ton of additional anecdotes we never would have known without him pointing them out. He was very knowledgeable and made our experience interactive. He was an absolute pleasure and we would recommend him for any of your travel needs!

I did the private guided Rijksmuseum tour yesterday and absolutely loved it. The guide was lovely and super knowledgeable and made the art really come alive. It was one of the highlights of my time in Amsterdam and a wonderful way to experience the museum. I would highly recommend it.

Max was a wonderful tour guide! He was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was helpful and interesting, including not only the artwork, but historical context as well as the architecture of the museum itself. The Rijksmuseum is stunning and we enjoyed our tour with Max!
