This route appeals to those short of time, climbing to Mt. Rinjanis volcanoes Senaru Crater Rim in Gunung Rinjani National Park. Starting and ending in Senaru, it provides spectacular views of the Lake Segara Anak within the volcanoes crater. This gentle trek is good for beginners, or family with children (minimum 7 years old).Tour can leave aevery day except weather condition does not permitted.

DAY 1 Day 1: RTC SENARU VILLAGE POS 1 – POS 2 – POS 3 – SENARU CRATER RIM2.641m) Registration at the Rinjani Trekking Centre pos 1 Senaru village (601) Trekking itinerary: our trekking tour is begin at 7.30-8.00am in the cool morning ,the first 30 minute we walking are in the open views, and green plant of coffee tree, bambo, and a many others of the plants belong to the local peoples in Senaru can be seen, we pass walk 30 minute then we reach the gate of the tropical rain forest, short break for 15minute then we continue our trek through the jungle where we will shadowing by the sun, walk in the humid temperatures and its will protecting us from the sunshine, a long the way up we will see and found many big trees sound of the animal monkey black/brown monkey can be see and hear, three hours approximately we walked then we will reach and found pos 2(1.500m) it called pos MONTONG SATAS where we can do break and lay down to recover our energy while waiting for our guide and porters prepare soft drinks crackers and fresh fruits, banana, pineapple will be serve here.Its time to go now!, we still in the middle of the tropical rain forest ,to get to pos 3need time approximately 2 hours and during the trips we will find and see the local strawberry it growing long theway ( June, July, August it season), two hours approximately we passpos 2 then we arrive at pos3(2.000m) which called MONDOKAN LOKAK where our porter and guide do cook for our lunch here fresh fruits and biscuits snack will be serve here ,be ware ! here there many brown monkey live here some time they will stealing your small backpack so make sure don’t leave it a way from you. After 1,5 hours we do rest here then we will continue to CRATER RIM (2.641m) first 25 minute we pass the Mondokan Lokak then out from the tropical rainforest so we walk on the Savana on the hills with open views then the trail quitesteep but the beautiful scenery of the 40% over Senaru village taking break we called CEMARA LIMA and then we go further to Pelawangan 1 Senaru Crater Rim (2.641m) for about one hour to get there camping and over night with own dinner here, the trail are stony and quit steep up, and you will find great moment of your life from Senaru Rim views: Spectacular sunset over the 3 Gilis and mountain Agung in Bali Sun rise from next to the valley of mt. Sanggka Reyang Smoke that throughout hole of New volcano in the middle of Lake Segara Anak Peak of Rinjani mountain 3.726m Best sleep under the stars DAY 2: SENARUC RATER RIM (2.641m) –SENARU VILLAGE (601) After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise, and taking the picture with beautiful scenery of the lake we will go down to Senaru village for 5-6 hour back down then we will arrive at Senaru Rinjani Trekking Centre around 12.30pm tO 13.00 then our private car will bring to your next destination.

5.00Green Rinjani was a great company to hike with ! They took care of everything from transport from the port to accomodation prior to the hike . The guide we had ,Dana was wonderful and supportive and the porters were incredible . Amazing food was prepared and plenty of water and snacks provided . Definetly recommend hiking with Green Rinjani

5.00A brisk hike to the top of Mount Rinjani, but what an experience! Green Rinjani ensured a flawless organization: from the material to the guidance. Our guide was friendly and motivating, and the porters deserve all the respect – they carry everything upstairs and cook delicious meals. An absolute must for those who love adventure, but don’t underestimate it: physically it is a tough challenge.

5.00⸻ Thank you for this unique experience! It was absolutely wonderful! Thank you, Dana! We were picked up at the airport by a driver from the organization and warmly welcomed. Even though we arrived late, we were still served a delicious meal. Afterwards, we spent the night in a beautiful room with a comfortable bed at the Green Rinjani Resort. The next morning, we had breakfast at the resort before setting off with our guide Dana and two of his colleagues. Before we started, we received a blessing – a very special moment! Then our adventure began. Dana adjusted perfectly to our pace and was such a kind, funny, and knowledgeable guide. He shared so much with us and always had an answer to our questions. We were fascinated by the porters carrying the tents and equipment. While we were catching our breath with every step, they climbed the mountain—barefoot or in flip-flops—carrying about 30 kg on their shoulders and still overtaking us with ease! Dana and his team cooked fresh meals for us every time, and the food was unbelievably good! He made sure we always had enough water and snacks and looked after us so well, reminding us when to reapply sunscreen or insect repellent. At Green Rinjani, “Green” is taken seriously: we even got to plant a tree in the jungle! No waste was left behind—Dana even picked up litter along the way. So impressive! The view when we reached the crater was absolutely breathtaking—something everyone should experience at least once in their life. Thank you, Dana, and the entire team, for this truly amazing adventure!

5.00We had a great time and it was a great adventure. The Porters did an incredible job and provided us with delicious and fresh food at all times. Our guide Dana was great. It was fun doing the tour with him. His knowledge of the area and about Mount Rinjani he shared with us and through his experience we felt safe at all times. Absolutely recommend!

5.00Our 2-day / 1-night trek to the Rinjani Crater Rim with Green Rinjani was incredible! Our guide Adi was caring, patient, and always attentive to our pace and needs. The two porters were amazing, carrying all our gear and setting up a perfect campsite. The food was outstanding — fresh, tasty, and always served with hot coffee or tea. The atmosphere was respectful, friendly, and full of harmony. We felt safe, supported, and truly cared for. Thank you, Adi and the team — this was an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!

5.00Our tour with Adi and his team (Gadeng and Aoang) was exhausting but very nice. Adi explained to us in the first part of the hike the surrounding plants, at the food stops there was delicious food, Adi was always very helpful, you felt very well taken care of

5.00We booked the 2D1N tour to Senaru Crater Rim (Deluxe option, costs only marginally more but is highly recommended). We were warmly welcomed, everything was perfectly organized: Check-in to the very clean room before the tour, delicious dinner, good briefing and incidentally a fantastic view from the hotel. We were allowed to do the tour with Aril and he is highly recommended. You can tell from the beginning that he is an extremely responsible, reliable and competent guide and knows the mountain well. Aril took very good care of us, supported us, helped us in difficult places and responded to our pace. Our 2 porters were also great and dragged our tents, sleeping bags, food and even a small table up the mountain in record time. We have also observed guides from other organisations who were just doing their own thing, listening to music, going way ahead or behind and not really interested in their group. This seemed questionable as someone had to be searched for about 1h and the guide had no idea where the person was. In addition, most guides/porters leave a lot of waste after cooking. Not so with Green Rinjani! We were simply superbly accompanied, Aril even collected waste on the way back and carried it downstairs. A big thank you to Aril, to the Porters and to Green Rinjani. Both Guide and Porter are delighted about a reasonable tip, we more than deserve it!
