  Alvaro was the most amazing tour guide, we had an absolutely epic time. One of my favorite days of carnaval! Alvaro thought of absolutely every detail and the day went perfectly. The beaches are incredible and so was the hike, the sunset, the snacks and drinks and a taste of Brazil. I am so grateful to have found this expedition and would love to go again / anywhere with Alvaro! Also loved the photo shoot, so many nice touches.

  We had an amazing experience with our guide, Saffo. From the very beginning, he offered us a fully personalized tour of the city, perfectly combining history, culture, and the most iconic places with an ideal pace. What stood out the most was the sense of safety and confidence throughout the entire tour, along with the fun and positive energy he brought to the experience. His historical knowledge is impressive, and his fluency in multiple languages made everything clear, dynamic, and highly professional. Additionally, the photos he took of us were truly professional, capturing every moment in a spectacular way. It was much more than just a tour — it was a complete experience that exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to discover the city in an authentic, safe, and unforgettable way.

  We loved the experience from the beginning to the end. Mr.Alvaro is a super friendly, cult and helpful person.   We had a truly special and memorable day thanks to Alvaro. He was generous with his time and local knowledge, flexible in accommodating our needs, and made sure we experienced the stories behind the city’s most important landmarks. Best of all, the photos he captured of me and my son are simply outstanding — memories we’ll treasure forever.

  This is an absolute MUST when visiting Rio!!! Made the entire trip worth it! On top of all of the knowledge and sites, the photographs are top notch!! Would recommend!!! 10/10!!

  This tour was absolutely amazing. I booked on my last day in Rio and it was my best day there. Alvaro knows the best spots for pictures and hidden gems. Add on the professional photography. Pictures are so much better that way. The knowledge that comes with the tours is such a learning experience. After being in Brazil for a week, I still learned new things from him. Don’t worry, you won’t go hungry or thirsty during the day. There are a lot of great surprises in this vehicle! I am a solo woman traveler, and I felt completely safe and would book any tour with him. I felt like I was leaving a friend. Do not pass this tour up! Well worth it

  We had a great experience with Alvaro ! Alvaro is a great tour guide (or a big brother like he prefers to call himself) , he knows what’s best , has a great knowledge about the city , great at communication, exceptional execution! Key highlights: 1) Alvaro provided detailed explanation and options for what’s possible along with tips for doing stuff DIY during the planning 2) Always responsive 3) He introduced us Mate and Globo snacks , I can’t remember how many packets of Globo I had after Alvaro introduced it to us during the trip 4) His car was very clean , comfortable , had wifi and drinks too PS: we loved the fact that we didn’t had to stop for lunch which wastes time and instead Alvaro prepared snacks/drinks which were great!

  Did this tour solo with Saffo. From the start good communication and very well planned. I got the full package on this one combining a guide, driver, and personal photographer all in one. Very knowledgeable of the city and learn much along the way. Pictures taken nothing short of amazing. He is def one of the best all in one guides ever and if you seek a trip to rio don't hesitate to reach out. Won't regret the incredible experience provided. 10 stars out of 5.

  We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. We had two young children, and Alvaro adjusted the trip to meet our needs. We got to see all the best spots in Rio and learn about the city’s history at the same time. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and a great person to spend the whole day with. We’re already planning to come back and use him as our guide again. He is also a photographer and the pics looks amazing! We loved the car too!
