Experience the Ultimate Adventure at River Rapids Jamaica in Trelawny!
Your tour starts as you are greeted by your friendly tour guide to assist you with putting on your helmet and life jacket before providing you with some brief safety instructions. Once you are ready then it's time to grab your tube and jump into the river for your exciting float downstream.
While floating down the Rio Bueno you will encounter a fun mix of river rapids and calming currents as you travel through the jungle setting of the River Valley. Along the trip there is a chill out spot for you to jump from a platform into the Lagoon. As the river currents fade you jump into a raft for some paddling fun into the the Caribbean Sea towards Bengal Beach, a small private beach where you can relax, take a dip in the warm ocean water, and enjoy some refreshments at the beach bar.

Enjoy an exciting tubing adventure down the scenic Rio Bueno, a river in Jamaica. After pickup from your hotel, you’ll receive a brief overview and safety training before taking a short walk through the lush rainforest over the Irie Bridge to the launching spot. Then, jump in the water and make your way downstream! Float along the winding Rio Bueno and enjoy the twists and turns of the river. Stop for a break under bamboo trees, where you’ll have the chance to relax on the river bed, swim in the cool waters or try out the rope swing. Get back in your tube and travel over some more rushing rapids as you pass under an old stone bridge towards the Caribbean Sea. When you reach the river delta, paddle over a few small waves to get to the white-sand shores of Bengal Bay. Lounge in the sun, swim in the sea and admire the tropical landscape before heading back to your hotel. Please note: this tour cannot accept Royal Caribbean cruise ship passengers

5.00Our kids had an absolute blast, and Davian and the rest of his team made the tubing extra fun. The ride into the river rafting was a bit dodgy off of the main highway but it was legit and well organized with the driver and enjoyable. WHen you finish you walk down a beach with lovely homes to get to a bit less than fantastic area where you enjoy the water and can have a Red STripe and some chips, but that's about it. Kids didn't mind though. I think it was a great option for Disney Cruisers

5.00We had such a fun day! Group of 11 with 5 kids under 7. Guides were amazing and so fun! Be prepared there is no food so make sure your the kids are fed before you get going. Would definitely recommend.
A great time was had with our excellent guide, Davion!

5.00We had a great time with Davion! He made us feel welcome, safe and had us laughing throughout our journey down the river. About halfway through, we were given the opportunity to get out and swim, which was very refreshing! At the end of the river, we all got into a raft and paddled over to a beach. This took some effort and upper body strength, so be forewarned! My only complaint is that I wish the tubing was longer, but the length of the river obviously cannot be changed, so only Mother Nature is to blame!
Don’t be fooled, this can hardly be considered river rapids!

4.00Although the description talks of taking a short hike to a waterfall and going across the river via wooden bridge, neither of those occurred. The rapids should be considered more of a lazy river since the rapids were few and far between, paddling the end of the trip is not feasible when there are only two people as the current coming into the river is way too strong to transverse. We then had to walk the beach to get to the end of the trip. A fun experience, but not really worth the money.

5.00Super fun experience! Guides were friendly, fun and helpful. Would recommend highly recommend! A few to know that aren’t mentioned- Bring your own towel they are not provided. You can safely leave your items on the bus. After tubing you get on a larger raft and paddle to the beach. Not overly strenuous but took about 30 min. There is a bar on the beach but it’s not always open. Would have been nice to have a cold bottle of water and/or a cocktail at the end. Bring your own water. The drive to and from is about 45 min each way.

4.00Great activity for families with kids. The River rapids were fun but nothing major, so not scary for little ones. They also have tubes of various sizes including those with solid bottoms and seatbacks for smaller kids. The second half of the rafting was a bit strenuous but not in a bad way! Beach area was not especially nice, and we felt a bit rushed to leave but I think that was because of the other people in our bus wanting to leave. Overall, we had a really fun time and are glad we did this!

5.00Floating the river was fun. Kind of a short trip down the river. It took roughly 1 hour 20 minutes each way in vehicle from Montego Cruise terminal.

5.00Davion really made this a great trip! We had the best time tubing with friends- he was really fun, engaging and hilarious! The beaching lounging at the end was a nice ending. The trip was well worth the money and he took great care of us! What would really make this trip even better is having a BBQ at the end- the teenagers were super hungry after tubing and playing in the ocean afterwards.

2.00Tubing was very short. Not much rapids at all. We then rafted a bit to a beach where the guide for the water part left. You are literally left on the beach with no direction of anything to do. Your driver is waiting there and basically the best option was to leave and go back to resort. For the price you pay, it is not worth it and if course everyone is looking for a tip. Our guide for tubing was pleasant and our driver was nice as well. Just not worth it and overall experience was underwhelming. Overall excursion part was like 35 minutes....
