Al Masmak Fortress
Masmak Fort is in the AlDirah neighborhood of Riyadh, a symbol of the unification of Saudi Arabia. It was the site of a historic battle that turned the tide of the struggle for control in favor of the House of Saud and paved the way for modern-day Saudi Arabia. It is made from clay and mudbrick fort.
Souk Al Zal
One of Riyadh’s oldest traditional markets that carries 100 years of history within its alleyways. As soon as you start your tour in Souk AlZal and hear the sellers’ voices in the auctions, you will feel that you have traveled to the past of the city. The souk is known for its antiques, rare coins, and old utensils. You may also find musical instruments, old record players, and hundreds of interesting items that seem as if they came from a museum of ancient folk traditions.

5.00This Full day Riyadh City tour was excellent. I had to book this tour in a rush because the original tour I had planned in Riyadh canceled last minute. Thankfully this tour was available and it worked out perfect. I owe it mostly to our tour guide Rakan. He is a young man who knew his stuff about Riyadh and took care of me and my family with the utmost kindness and expertise. The most outstanding part of the trip was he invited us into his family home for lunch (that his mother prepared for us). One couldn't have asked for a more local Saudi Arabian treat. To say the least that along with other excellent places Rakan treated us too was spectacular. I thank the tour comany Abhatrips for coming to our rescue and providing this tour... but I truly thank Rakan for being a wonderful guide. I highly recommend this tour and tour company

5.00We had a very short time in Riyadh, however, we were looking for a tour which would help us get around to places not easy on the metro and learn about Saudi culture and heritage. Rakan, our guide, was an absolute gentleman. He was informative, welcoming and proud to show us around his city. He took us to all the places we wanted to see and we enjoyed good conversation throughout. We would highly recommend this tour and Rakan if you are in Riyadh.
