The Hāna Highway is a 64.4-mile long stretch of spectacular views of rainforest, waterfalls, beaches and coastline. On the east after Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kīpahulu on the Piilani Highway. Although Hāna is only about 52 miles from Kahului, it takes about 2.5 hours to drive when no stops are made as the highway is very winding and narrow and passes over 59 bridges, 46 of which are only one lane wide. There are approximately 620 curves along Route 360 from just east of Kahului to Hāna, virtually all of it through lush, tropical rainforest. Many of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910 and all but one are still in use. This full-day trip to the Hana coast has the best scenic drive along the shorelines of Maui.

Hana Highway - Road to Hana
The Hana Highway is a 64.4-mile-long (103.6 km) , longest, coastal scenic route in the world. To the east of Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kipahulu as Hawaii Route 31 (the Piilani Highway). This tour covers 59 single lane bridges, over 640 turns and curves, through lush, tropical rainforest. Most of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910.
Ho'okipa Beach Park
Ho'okipa Beach is considered the windsurfing capital of the world, you can enjoy watching wind surfers, kite boarders and surfers challenge the oceans waves and shoreline winds. This is also the Threatened Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle capital of Maui, with 200-pound turtles feeding along the shoreline and basking on the beach all day long. Stops made upon request. Please ask tour guide about stopping.

5.00We had an amazing day. We saw waterfalls and beautiful scenic views and beaches. Cobe was our tour guide, he was fun, and shared a lot of information about the island. I would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Very cool experience and worth doing. The history and stories that the tour guide shared was very informative. Made many stops for snacks and restroom. Tour van was comfortable. Hotel pick up was convenient. Ed our tour guide was spot on great.

4.00The Road to Hana is fun - but it's a LONG day. The road truly is unique, with lots and lots of hairpin turns and 54 one-lane bridges. The stops along the way are beautiful; a black sand beach, a gorgeous waterfall (that you could swim to - if you don't mind freezing a little - and if you have the balance and ability to walk over slick boulders). It's a nice way to see the land.

5.00Our tour guide Lepa was amazing !!! She communicated our meal preferences and pick up times. So friendly and extremely knowledgeable about everything possible about Hāna. All our stops were wonderful . She went over and beyond in every way, plenty of water and bathroom stops . I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone ! We loved it all .

5.00Justin was our driver. He was on time for our pickup. His knowledge of Hana and excellent driving skills made for a very fun, relaxing day. The breakfast and lunch was wonderful too. I would 100% recommend this outing.

5.00This was our first time in Maui. We picked this tour based on the amount of stops and things to see. Our tour guide, Heavenly was A pro. She drove us to each spot explaining Thr history, small details, and local lore. She never rushed any of the group and allways had a smile. If you do the this tour try and pick , Heavenly. Much appreciated.

5.00Our trip to Hana was amazing! Heavenly was our tour guide, and was also amazing! She was early, made sure we knew what was happening, told great stories, and went above and beyond for everyone in the van! While it was a very long day, it was worth it! Take motion sickness meds and bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer! We felt like Ohana!

5.00The tour was amazing!! Our tour guide Kristie was fabulous!! She was so warm and welcoming! She made us feel like family as soon as we entered the van. She had amazing stories throughout the entire tour. We went to multiple beautiful spots and we were able to get out for a closer look and to take pictures. She had so much knowledge of the history of the island and surrounding islands. I highly recommend the tour and ask for Kristie!!
