  I can’t say enough about this tour! Alec was a phenomenal tour guide and photographer! He took us on hidden trails, to waterfalls, gave us lots of history of Hawaiian culture and even made an unscheduled stop when we saw a sign on the side of the road for “Cow Cuddles” and I said I would love to do that. He took numerous photos of us and our day on my phone, knowing exactly where the best places were to capture wonderful memories that we will cherish for years to come.   Fantastic! I drove the road to Hana 25 years ago (honeymoon). We went with Alec on our 25th anniversary. There is so much you can’t see when you drive yourself. There is so much you would never see without Alec leading the trip. Do not visit Maui and miss this.

  HIGHLY recommend! So many hidden gems that you would miss driving the road to Hana yourself. At most of the stops we were the only ones there or maybe one other small group. It was so nice to see the beauty up-close outside of the car, and to get view of the island more as a local would while still checking out the sights that draw tourists to the road to Hana.

  If we could rate this six stars we would! Alec was a kind and interesting tour guide who showed us around for an amazing day. He has interesting stories to share, and makes sure you see and take many photos of all the journey has to offer. I cannot imagine a better way to see the road to Hāna, we took a stroll to hidden waterfalls and trails rather than just tourist hot spots. He makes sure you’re safe and comfortable along the way!   Alec, shared a lot of information and showed us some great spots on the road to Hana. We were able to get some banana bread and coffee along the way. He knows the road and the history. We enjoyed our day with him! I especially enjoyed the bamboo forest walk. It is magical to hear the bamboo in the wind!

  Saw off the beat areas on the Road to Hana. For the most part a good day but not impressed with the dirty jeep and driving of the guide.

  We had the best day with our guide, Alec! Took us to more of the quieter areas and took tons of photos for us. Very knowledgeable and very safe! Did not feel like a tourist in a tourist trap. Was a beautiful day seeing all of the beauty Maui has to offer.

  We had a great day with Alec on our adventure on the Road to Hana! Lots of special stops… beautiful vistas and beaches, local treats where he was friends with the proprietors, and hiking on trails to areas that felt like our own. Waterfalls, the bamboo forest… it was like being a kid again! Plus Alec was very friendly and knowledgeable, teaching us about Hawaiian culture and a few other tidbits along the way! Do it! You’ll have a blast!

  What a day getting to Hana. Alex made all the difference. From getting us deep into bamboo forests or hidden waterfalls he was patient, put safety as a priority and really made the day enjoyable. His wit didn’t hurt either he was very easy to get along with. He kept us fed, hydrated and made sure we had plenty of opportunities to use a bathroom! This was a first rate trip.

  Alek our guide was awesome! His knowledge of the area and the hidden treasures on the road to Hana was just what we hoped for. He allowed us to take our time, helped us out in slippery situations and made sure we got to our destinations. It was cool to see his connections w the locals which made it fun as well. It was really nice to have him take a lot of photos, putting us in the right positions to get a great shot. He was on time, communicated prior to pick up, took care of all the food and drinks and had plenty of restroom breaks along the way.
