Discover the turquoise Caribbean waters and rich marine life of Roatan island, this is an incredible underwater experience on a three-hour snorkeling tour that includes exploration of an array of natural starfish area, then we will continue to the blue channel, a rich and colorful coral reef system and finish with a sunken shipwreck. The snorkel equipment in excellent condition is included in this tour and ready for a fun day under the sun. We will take you to discover the northern band of the island of Roatan, located a few minutes from the cruise ports, where you will enjoy a relaxed island bus tour observing the beautiful nature and entering the exuberant flora of the Big Bight community.

Our local guides will be ready waiting for you at any point you indicate, once in our bus units, you will enjoy of a 30 to 40 minutes island sightseeing drive to the Big Bight community, where you'll meet your team of expert guides that will provide all the necessary gear like a mask, fins, vest, and snorkel. The 3 stop snorkeling adventure begins with a boat trip to the first stop, the starfish where we will enjoy an array of clear crystal warm water and opportunity to view the starfish, you will also enjoy a gorgeous view of Roatan island mountains from the ocean. Our fun snorkeling trip will continue to the blue channel an amazing area of the island full of marine life and colorful coral reef. And guess what, still more to discover, the adventure continues to the incredible sunken shipwreck near a famous resort of the island, many tourists describe it as a unique experience worldwide. At the end of the tour, you can enjoy drinks and local beers, water in the restaurant and baths.

5.00I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Roatan Five Stars, and especially my driver, Mr. Daniel. As a solo traveler, I initially booked the three-stop snorkeling tour with the monkeys and sloths combo, expecting it to be a standard group experience. To my surprise, it turned into a completely personalized, private experience with Mr. Daniel and I. It completely exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment he picked me up around 7:45 AM, Mr. Daniel made it clear that the day was all about me and what I wanted to experience. What I thought would not be possible as a solo traveler, like doing an island tour, stopping at the Roatan sign for photos, visiting the chocolate factory, rum factory, and other scenic spots, became completely doable. He even offered additional options like ziplining, ATV riding, and horseback riding, which are often limited by minimum group requirements. That flexibility alone made this experience stand out. Mr. Daniel is not only professional, but also incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He shared so much history about Roatan and Honduras, which made each stop more meaningful. Our conversations flowed effortlessly throughout the entire day, and his energy was genuinely warm, welcoming, and engaging. The snorkeling portion of the tour was equally amazing. I initially had some issues with my mask, but the boat staff quickly noticed and provided better equipment, which completely turned my experience around. The three snorkeling stops, especially seeing the starfish and vibrant marine life, were absolutely beautiful. The snacks on board, including the rum cake, were a nice touch as well. Stopping at AJ’s to interact with the sloths, capuchin monkeys, and macaws was another highlight. Being able to experience all of this in one day, without feeling rushed or restricted, made it truly unforgettable. What started as a trip where I thought I would be limited as a solo traveler turned into a full, rich, and memorable experience, all thanks to the exceptional service from Roatan Five Stars and especially Mr. Daniel. If you are considering booking, do it. If you can, request for Mr. Daniel. You will not regret it.

5.00We had an amazing time. The guided snorkel tour was very patient and made us feel safe. Their driver Daniel is very knowledgeable of the island and kind. We highly recommend Roatan Five Stars.

5.00This was an amazing snorkel adventure. We spent about 20-25 minutes per stop - and it was so much fun. First stop was supposed to be to "just get wet" and feel out the snorkeling - but in the process we found three stingrays among the starfish just relaxing at the bottom. The shipwreck was really cool to see. The best part was our second stop though... the drop off. AMAZING. We had some snacks in-between each stop to help get the ocean out of our mouths - the best of which was these home-made pineapple rice cakes. If I knew how to bake - I would have asked for the recipe. If you want a great time in the water - this is the adventure for you.

5.00Our driver, Daniel, is the BEST! He was so professional, timely, friendly and informative of the country! I can’t recommend him enough!! He made himself available to us as we needed! The excursion itself was amazing! The guides were informative and took us to places that truly were underwater experiences. This is a fun activity that I would recommend. Not overly exertive and so beautiful!

5.00THE best experience!!! We came ashore way too early because we didn't think to verify local time and ship time; the staff was accommodating and helpful (cheers Laura, you are a fabulous guide!!). The reef experience was just perfect, the 3 stops varied, appropriate in time in the water; we were able to see lots of different fishes and starfishes. On the way back we were offered a few stops for shopping and tasting local beers, and came back on the boat with ample time to spare. All in all the best experience of our cruise!
