5.00Jeffery was a fun and entertaining host that all the tour operators seemed to know. He drove us to all the main spots and including a few not listed. I would definitely recommend him over a cruise

5.00We had the pleasure of having Big J as our tour guide, and my father and mother in law had Jeffery and his father. Let me tell you, these guys are such amazing people and so caring! We had the pleasure of snorkeling, going to Brady’s Cay, and AJ’s animals. The crew took such great care of us and gave us a once in a lifetime experience! Already looking into resorts or AirBnB’s to spend a week in Roatán with the help of these guys! 10/10 recommend, thanks again guys!!

5.00Jeffrey and Big J (brothers) were amazing hosts. We saw amazing views of Roatan and visited animals local to the island such as sloths and monkeys. Along the way we ran into Jeffrey and Big J’s dad as we popped around the local shops. It felt as we were part of the family. If you are worrying about safety, you do not need to be. The island thrives off the tourism and is appreciative you are there to visit. Book the tour you won’t regret it.

5.00We had an amazing experience with Roatan Fun Tours during our stop in Roatan, Honduras on June 18, 2025. From start to finish, the service was professional, personal, and far more affordable than the cruise line’s offerings—about 75% less! Our driver, Carland Danword, was outstanding. He ensured we felt safe, informed, and well taken care of throughout the day. He even contacted the locations we planned to visit ahead of time to let them know we were coming, which made everything seamless. The highlight of our day was the AJ Monkey and Sloth Sanctuary. The interaction with the animals was up close and personal—an unforgettable experience that felt respectful and well-managed. (Note: The sanctuary follows government regulations, and while the experience is immersive, it remains within safe and ethical boundaries.) We also had the chance to try iguana, a local delicacy not listed on the tourist menu. It was a unique culinary experience that added to the authenticity of our visit. Because we started our tour a bit later than expected, we opted to skip the beach resort portion. Carland arranged for his colleague Guillermo to pick us up and return us to port. Guillermo is the brother of Jeffery, who had taken my last-minute call and made sure we were accommodated. The whole team worked together to make our day special. If you're visiting Roatan and want a more personal, flexible, and budget-friendly experience, I highly recommend Roatan Fun Tours. They truly care about their guests and go the extra mile to make your visit memorable.
Disappointing experience

3.00Anthony was a very personable and knowledgeable guide. The monkey sanctuary was a disappointment. The facility was bare bones and over priced ($20pp). No sloths were available, being told they were at the vet due to the temperature. In addition we were led to believe that we would learn about local plants and their medicinal applications. This did not happen.

5.00This was a fantastic experience! Guillermo was amazing! Friendly and informative about the history and facts of Roatan. He was also flexible with adding extra sightseeing stops along the way. The monkey, sloths, and birds were a great and fun experience. Worthwhile excursion! We came in from a cruise but booked our excursion separately and saved a ton. Very easy to find out guide just outside the port gates. Highly recommend.

5.00This is very fun i definitely think that everyone going to roatan should do this, it’s a must. it’s so cool and exciting getting to carry the animals or them getting on you!, they have people who take pictures and you can buy them for only $20, the pictures look very nice, i recommend paying directly through the place itself, WAY cheaper, $15 per person otherwise through cruise excursions it’s like 65$ per person, it’s about a 5 minute walk from the cruise port, all guides are very fun and nice,they’re are also a few stands with very unique and cool souvenirs for great prices!

5.00This was our first trip to Roatan. We arrived on a cruise ship not knowing what we wanted to do for the day. Once we got to the island we decided to chance doing something that wasn’t a part of our cruise. To say the least it was the best decision we ever made. Jeffrie took our group of 6 on a tour to the animal sanctuary along with some shopping, the delicious chocolate shop and where all the delicious rum and rum cake is sold. He was extremely friendly, smart, personable, and super fun. He shared a lot of information about the history of their beautiful island and incredible residents. He even stopped to run into a store to grab us some adult beverages and bags of chips for us to try that they’re known for too! He told us how they will always get their guests back to the ship at least a couple hours ahead of time to ensure they are never late! At the end of our tour we felt like family with Jeffrie and can’t wait to go back to see him again in the future. We HIGHLY recommend booking a tour with Roatan Fun Tours - and ask for Jeffrie. You won’t be disappointed.

5.00This is our second time booking with Roaton fun tours . Jeffrie is absolutely amazing , he’s very informative and fun . We enjoyed the sloths , monkeys and Bradys Cay beach . We had Jeffrie as a tour guide and also Elda she was just as wonderful . My brother and I had a great time . I highly recommend this company when visiting Mahogany Bay .
