This tour includes pick-up from your cruise ship port, airport, or hotel room, as well as a narrated tour of the west side of the island on the way to one of the best beaches not only in Roatan but in Central America as recently rated. Once at the beach, following a short boat ride to the coral reef, we'll take you on a one hour snorkelling tour with all snorkel equipment included. If you are not comfortable swimming you can just relax on the boat and enjoy the sights surrounded by crystal clear blue waters of the Caribbean.

After the snorkel trip, we will bring you back to the beach so that you enjoy the rest of your day relaxing and basking in the sun.

The beach is equipped with clean washrooms and showers and beach chairs are provided. Just bring a towel and sun lotion. If you don't have them or forgot them on the cruise ship, no worries, you can purchase them from the local beach store.

West Bay

West bay beach is White sandy beach and turquoise water, makes it the perfect getaway for cruise shippers and tourists who visit our beautiful island. Washrooms, beach chairs, souvenir shop, restaurant, are some of the facilities at this beach club from where our boat snorkeling tour departs from.

We had to wait an hour for another family to show up. During that time, they made us walk about a half mile down the road and said we’ll be back. Very confusing. Once we got to the beach, they shoved 13 of us on a very small boat that did not have enough snorkel gear for all of us to use. Once we got to the beach club there was a lot of confusion on where to sit as they did not truly reserve a spot for our group. Our tour guide was gone quite a bit so we had to rely on other guides to help out. We already had this same excursion booked for our upcoming February cruise but we will definitely be cancelling and booking something else.

The snorkeling was nice and Tracy our driver was wonderful. The beach was not very nice but we are use to the beautiful white sand of the Gulf Coast so we were not impressed.

Michael was our driver/tour guide. He is local and shares his knowledge very freely. He took good care of us and was with us all during our land excursion. We loved him! Henry was our boat captain and snorkel coordinator. He put the boat right above an excellent coral reef! We saw so many fish and beautiful coral. This was an excellent excursion and I highly recommend it!

Dolfos was a wonderful tour guide around the island. He knew the spots well and was very flexible. He got us back to the ship in the nick of time even though we were a little delayed when my boo decided to get her hair braided. All in all it was a great adventure

Great excursion. Relaxing beach. Nice bar available. We enjoyed ourselves. Great value. We were able to snorkel and then enjoy the beautiful beach. Transportation was prompt and comfortable.
Ask for Dolphus! Family fell in love with Roatan!

Dolphus (our guide and driver) made the trip for us and made us feel like family. He was extremely friendly and down to earth and made us feel safe and welcome. When you first step off the ship in the port of Roatan, it can be a little overwhelming with the bombardment of vendors and excursion sales-people. It took us a few minutes to locate our guide, but as soon as we met with Dolphus, we were immediately put at ease. He quickly explained what was going on and guided us through the entire excursion with ease and comfort. The snorkeling was breathtaking and then he he took us to Bananarama Resort at West Beach, which was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to on earth. Crystal Clear Blue water, white sand and felt very safe. Lots of cheap drink and food options as well. Dolphus also ensured us he would be waiting for us when we wanted to head back to the ship (and he stood by his word) which helped so much with the stress of being in an unknown foreign country. He got us back in a very timely manner. Overall, this excursion was well worth the money And if you get the opportunity, please request Dolphus as your driver and guide. Roatan is now one of my families, favorite places on earth and you won’t regret visiting. We will certainly be back to visit every chance we get.
The guide was an excellent person and very cute had a very nice deal with my parents.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfectly organized. 👌👌Jordan made sure our beach and snorkeling experience was smooth, fun, and safe. The coral reefs were breathtaking, and the water was crystal clear.

Joel was an incredible guide, full of energy and local insights. He took us to the best spots for snorkeling and gave us time to relax on the beach afterward. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
