This is a fun activity for all ages and all family members as our chef will instruct and entertain, even revealing some of their secrets to Island cuisine, as she/he prepares a delicious meal for the entire family.
Guests can also request for the chef to just prep, cook and serve the meal while they chat or enjoy drinks but the chef will always be able to help teach. Meals can be served anywhere the guests wish to dine in the rental home or hotel/resort.

Chef Service Dining and Catering: We arrange one of our local Island chefs to visit your hotel/resort, villa, suite, condo or rental property and prepare a typical Island style cuisine or custom prep from the menu we provide and done to your liking. Groceries are billed separately to the client, once shopping is complete by your chef from your menu selections. Dinner can be served buffet or restaurant seating or where the guests prefer to dine. Please list all food allergies & dietary restrictions in your selections. Thank you! Groceries are billed separately once shopping is completed.

5.00We had an excellent experience with Chef Sue. She was very professional, arrived on time and had appetizers ready quickly, and most importantly everything was really delicious! We were especially impressed with the quality of the produce (beautiful locally grown lettuce) and freshness of seafood. We also had very ample portions, so we'll be having leftovers for lunch. Thank you!

5.00The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our brunch & dinner experiences with Chef Sue! She arrived on time, prepared & beautifully served our meals. Everything was delicious. Chef Sue is kind, personable, talented and has a great sense of humor.

1.00Just don't!!!!!!!! Absolutely horrible and not as described. Then showed up at our private rental and tried to get more money. Horrible food, didn't meet any criteria. Charged astronomical amount for groceries and didn't give invoice. Never ever.

5.00We had Chef Sue from Detour Roatan come to our rental house and prepare a wonderful dinner for us. We had scheduled the chefs dinner on our last night in Roatan and really wish we had scheduled earlier in the week so we could have enjoyed the left overs. We had the Island Chicken, Grilled Grouper Fillet, Beef Empanadas, Baked Potato, Sautéed Veggies with Fresh Tortillas & for dessert and the Key Lime Pie! Dinner was absolutely AMAZING!!!! the Chicken was so tender, the grouper was perfect, the Empanadas were gobbled up quickly! And the Key Lime Pie - we were devouring! My niece has a gluten allergy and Chef Sue was very accommodating and made sure to give her gluten free options. Did I mention the Key Lime Pie? OMG!!! This was soooooo good!!!! We would absolutely get this service again & request Chef Sue - because she was amazing!!! She came in with all the food, prepared the meal & left a clean kitchen!! I would also say that this was BY FAR the best meal I had in Roatan!!! So good!!!
