  It was so nice having Denisa as our tour guide. She was waiting for us right outside the port. We had a nice air conditioned vehicle. She was very knowledgeable of the island and everything it had to offer because she was a local. She was very kind with my child and he took a liking to her by the end of the tour. It was great to see the sloths and the monkeys and all the other animals at this park as well as do the chocolate and rum tastings. • Great Tour of a part of Honduras

  The port was very busy but we had specific directions to find our driver. We (12 of us!) appreciated the comfortable ride and commentary from our driver as we drove through town and rural areas. The Monkey Sloth Encounter was well organized and fun. We visited the Chocolate Factory which was underwhelming. Just a guy holding pictures of the process and passing around pods and beans. But it's chocolate, what's not to love! We skipped the Rum Tour and it made for a nice day.

  This tour provider is very organized. They had great communication on the day prior to and on the morning of departure. They went to great lengths to make sure that we were united with the tour guide at the port. The port itself is a bit confusing and the location is not easy to see from the ship however the tour operator made sure that we knew exactly where to go with signage and landmarks. When we got outside the port gate, there was a person to greet us with the tour company sign and he took us directly to the staging point. It is at that time that we met our driver Isaiah. What an outstanding individual he is! Very familiar with the culture and geography of the region. He was very accommodating in every way. He spent time with several of us discussing different aspects of the tour. Quite honestly, we would be his friend inviting him over to our house if we lived nearby. That's how close we felt with Isaiah. The van was air conditioned and comfortable. In summary, I can't say enough good about this tour and our guide Isaiah.   - Johny was the BEST! So accommodating and knowledgeable about the island. Also, just a delightful person. Would 1000% book something else with him. People booking this should know the rum tastings and chocolate tasting are just what’s started with no tour and little information on the process- it’s more of a taste and shop experience. With that in mind it was cool to taste things and buy what we wanted.

  Nesto was a wonderful guide. We highly recommend this outing. A bonus was that we stopped for authentic BBQ on the side of the road. Absolutely delicious.

  Elda was a perfect driver/guide for our adventure. One lady in our group uses a walker and Elda was so helpful loading and unloading it for her. The sloth and monkey tour was interesting and fun. We enjoyed the chocolate and rum factories as well. Lunch at a local restaurant, shopping in handcrafted shops were icing on the cake!   This attraction tends to make you think you actually get to hold the sloths, which you do not. Apparently it is illegal in Honduras now.

• The absolute BEST!

  Rennien was our tour guide. He was FANTASTIC! Our boat/arrival was 2 hours late and he was there. Waiting. Patiently. The 4 of us (my mother and our friend are in their 70's and my husband and I are in our 50's). We spent the whole 4.5 hours with Rennie. He took us to places that are nice picture spots, a fabulous local restaurant, a place to taste chocolate, one to taste rum and rum cakes, a, macaw, monkey and sloth meet and greet, and little places to shop, all while telling us about the island, the different areas and the famous people that have places there. We also stopped for fresh mango and sugar cane juice. It was such a wonderful experience and this tour and tour guide will be talked about for a long time. I hope we can get back and do it again.   This was the perfect tour for all ages. 2 grandparents, 2 adult children, and 2 kids 6 & 8. Something for everyone! We were able to personalize for our own day. Alfredo was the PERFECT tour guide. Kind, warm, and knowledgeable sharing information about the local culture. This ended up being the best tour of our trip.
