5.00Katie was phenomenal. She accommodated my disabled mother and toddler along with my stupidity of getting on the wrong boat - and she was willing to shorten our trip. This was great for my mother to get to do an excursion. Katie and I really hit it off. I miss her already. John Hayman - look me up on FB, please.

5.00We will meet at the port, and even though it was terribly busy, we did find our representative who took us to meet the driver. Herbert had everything organized and introduced us to our Driver David.. we had neglected to remember that we were going to the beach so we did not come prepared, but it was no problem because we had our own van and instead of doing the beach they are arrange for us to stop at a little mall/market where we could see a chocolate shopand other suitable souvenir shops. But first we went to the sloth and monkey sanctuary, which was a wonderful stop where the monkeys jumped on our heads and we had the Macaw’s up close on our heads as well. I think a little more time to visit with the animals even on the outside would’ve been terrific, but honestly, we had some small kids with us so it was probably enough. David did not rush us and we probably could’ve walked around a bit more if we had asked. Following this visit, we were driven through the city to the market, which David was very good about explaining things that you were passing telling us some information about the island. He was a wonderful driver great companion excellent with the kids overall great day!

5.00The experience was great. We got to be in the presence of the monkeys as they jumped along the group of people. We were very close to the sloths. You could see very clearly their characteristics. Our driver was excellent. She took us to a local place where we had a Monkey La La. A MUST to try!

5.00We loved our excursion with Jared!! We went to the monkey and sloth place. We had the best time. Then we went to an island beach club. Very nice. We enjoyed our day with ROA!

5.00You have to walk a little ways, but the tour guide drove us to the animal shelter. You could go in the cages with the parrots and spider monkeys. The shelter employee tells you what to expect prior to going in cages with you. The parrots will land on your arm or head! The monkeys will chase each other and bounce off your head! You cannot touch the sloths due to a change in the law, but you can see them up close and take pictures! So cute. We did not want to go to the beach since it was rainy, but our tour guide Felipe took us to a local flea market to souvenir shop. He then delivered us right back to where we needed to meet our ship.

5.00We were met at the cruise port by a lovely woman named Bridget. It was pouring rain. She drove us to the sanctuary. Along the way she pointed out places that were interesting and we learned a lot bout the island. We enjoyed the sanctuary even with the pouring rain. The guides there were very knowledgeable. You cannot touch the sloths but you can take very close up photos of them. The monkeys are friendly and love to grab hats, tug on hair, etc. They were very entertaining. When we were done, Bridget had waited and she took us back to the port. She was one of the most kindest sweetest ladies we have ever met. We so enjoyed our day and would recommend.
