  I visited Roatan for a solo getaway. I’m not familiar with the area and I wanted to venture out to other parts of the island. Roatan Breakaway Tours was quick to respond with messages and had great customer service. The driver “Jessica” was amazing and extremely safe driver. I visited the Sloth Sanctuary, The Mangroves and Punto Gordo for a fabulous lunch. The price was extremely fair in comparison to other companies that I checked. I highly recommend Roatan Breakaway Tours and I would use them again.

  We loved our experience with Roatan Breakaway Tours. I always book with them. Their drivers are professional and knowledgeable. The company also responds to messages if you want to book a later pick up time which I recommend. We went to AJ's Monkeys and Sloths, by far the best place to see sloths in Roatan and also Mayak homemade chocolate shop is well worth the drive to the West side. Thanks again for a great trip around Roatan.

  My family and I (4 adults, 2 children) were on the Carnival Jubilee in July. We booked this experience because it included more options than the Carnival excursions and was more reasonably priced. It was surprisingly difficult to find an excursion with both sloths and iguanas even though they are very close together. The walk to the meeting point was a little further than we realized. You need to make it to the taxi area, and then head left and walk out past the main security gate. All of the outside tours must wait there. It is a little bit of a trek so I would suggest heading down to debark ~30 min before meeting time. Jay was our guide and he was great! He was very friendly and shared interesting information about the island. We decided on visiting the rum factory, the chocolate factory, AJ's sloth/monkey sanctuary, and the iguana sanctuary. Jay took us in that order to avoid the peak crowds and it was a good call. We seemed to just miss all the big groups. Each stop was great, but my kids LOVED AJ's and Arch's! They got to hold guinea pigs, get up close with sloths, have capuchin monkeys jump on their heads, and feed iguanas. It was definitely a day to remember! Jay brought us back to the port with plenty of time. Drop off is past the security gate since you can show your ship card. We would definitely use Roatan Breakaway Tours again!

  We did a tour that included the animal sanctuary, rum and chocolate tour and then a beach day. First, the communication with Breakaway was fantastic, they were super responsive and made the pre-tour experience a breeze. Our driver Fabian was awesome, friendly, and we never felt rushed, allowing us more time in some of the places we wanted to see more of. When we were at the beach he continually checked on us to make sure we were enjoying everything. The vans provided were extremely clean and comfortable. If we ever find ourselves in Roatan again, there is no doubt that we will be booking with them again. 10 out of 10!

  We customize our tour and it was an amazing experience. The best part of our tour was our tour guide mama Rose. She was amazing, we got a lot of history of the island. I will definitely book with this company again and of course with mama Rose. 10/10 experience.

  I would love to start by saying this is THE BEST tour company in Honduras! If you're trying to decide who to go with--look no further! Lashan was so incredibly helpful on the front end, as we were deciding which tour to go with. She answered all of our questions right away! When we arrived in Honduras it was quite a rainy morning. The team waiting for us offered us umbrellas and stayed with us until our driver was ready. Angel, our driver, was INCREDIBLE!!! He was so fun, so incredibly friendly and was a wonderful tour guide! We had the best time at AJ's Sloths and Monkeys. We were celebrating my son's 13th birthday. Once the team found out, they surprised us with a cake, t-shirt, and sang him Happy Birthday. He felt so special and celebrated. Angel went out of his way to take us to local places that most tourists wouldn't know about. He was so knowledgeable about the area because he had grown up there! I wish I could give a higher rating than just 5 stars--this company deserves 10!!!! Their hospitality is out of this world!

  From the first contact with Lashan to book our tour (who was so helpful and made it so easy), to meeting our contact person at the cruise terminal (who stayed with us and held umbrellas over our heads while our driver brought the car around), to Angel our driver....I can't say enough good things about this company and how great they all were! Angel was very knowledgeable about the area since he grew up there and was more than willing to take us places to experience things most tourists don't even know about! We enjoyed our stop at AJ's Sloths and Monkeys so very much! The staff there were so knowledgeable about the animals and made sure our grandkids had the time of their lives!! At one of our stops, Lashan the owner, met us and surprised our grandson who was celebrating his 13th birthday, with a birthday cake and a t-shirt! They were all so sweet and made his day extra special. Trip Advisor only gives me the option of 5 stars as the highest rating, but if I could give 10 stars I certainly would!

  We coordinated a private tour with Roatan Breakaway Tours while we were in Honduras on a cruise. From communication booking the tour to the actual tour day - everything was smooth and perfect! Arnie was our tour guide and he was the best tour guide I have ever had on a tour and I have done a lot of cruise tours. Lashan coordinated our tour and answered all my questions via email the same day I sent her an email. I felt so comfortable taking this tour outside of the cruiseline. We had a big group of 13 family members with one person on a electric mobility scooter and Arnie was more than happy to accommodate us. He went above and beyond to make sure our group members were happy and had everything we needed. I would use this tour company again if I was ever in Honduras again. I 100% recommend them to everyone!! A+++++

  We had a great tour with Lindy on New Year’s Eve. We loved the monkey and sloth interaction. Our grandkids - 4 and 6 - were mesmerized by the up close and personal experience - and the adults loved it too! We then did a snorkel tour which was a lot of fun and the group on the boat was of a manageable size. We ended our tour on Brady’s Cay which was delightful. Our only issue was the time it took to order food on Brady’s Cay. It was over an hour from the time we ordered to the time the food arrived and when it finally arrived we only had minutes to east before we had to leave to return to our cruise ship. Pro tip: Order immediately upon arriving at Brady’s Cay of you want food.
