  Highly recommended! 😎 Roatán Ocean Adventure delivered a fun, professional experience! Our group included a wide range of swimmers. We embarked from the cruise, and found our driver ( ROA signs visible). Her van was clean, and she drove directly to the waterfront where ROA catamarans were ready with chilled water, towels, and snorkeling gear. In the sea, we were guided through a fabulous snorkel/swim above colorful coral gardens teeming with brilliant tropical fish. The catamaran captain remained nearby for swimmers who wanted to relax aboard. There was no pressure, no rush. ROA was better value and adventure than ANY cruise ship excursion! (Paige Woods of ROA organized directly through Trip Advisor ) Highly recommend 👏🏻👏🏻

  I highly recommend this snorkeling experience. The reef was exceptional and our guide and pontoon boat captain did everything possible to make this a snorkel trip of a lifetime. I have snorkel many places in the Caribbean and truly this trip was one of the best ever.

  My sister and I did the snorkel hopping tour and had a blast, you will too! I cannot recommend them highly enough because they definitely rate a 10! Beautiful snorkel spots and amazing things to see combined with awesome visibility ROA great. They know the waters and always take you to the best spots dependent upon the prevailing weather. I've been with them multiple times before and my sister came once (about 8 years ago) and I have always had a great time. Even though my sister is an experienced scuba diver, she really enjoyed snorkeling with ROA. We had Joseph as our in-the-water guide who was able to point out things and educate us on the names of a vast array of fish and fauna. Austin, our boat driver, was readily available and pulled the boat close after our various snorkeling spots so we didn't swim far at all to get back on. The ladder was a nice wide one that was very stable when climbing aboard. Austin would take our gear and assist us on board as well while Joseph remained in the water ever watchful of our safety telling us to take our time, there was no rush. We saw many colorful fish, including Dory, a pufferfish, trigger fish, trunk fish, two lionfish, a school of cuttlefish, two different types of lobsters, a little shrimp and a barracuda! I had my underwater camera, but since Joseph could really hold his breath, he was able to take a better picture of the big lobster and little shrimp than I managed, but all the other pictures I took. I have seen several lionfish over the years; they make beautiful pictures but never had I encountered a baby blue one before. Joseph was kind enough to allow me to take several pictures because with my lack of skill, it takes me several tries to get one that looks good or great. I was very happy with my photos, and the tour overall was fantastic. It culminated with ice cold water and fresh cut-up fruit. We ate on the way back but had cold water throughout the day and were offered fruit between our 2nd and 3rd stop but decided we wanted it at the end. That fruit was deliciously sweet and made a wonderful finale on our excursion. Afterwards, we were conveniently dropped off at the port by Ann who had also driven us out. Our entire excursion could not have been better, even though we were sprinkled on a little while snorkeling, other excursions through the ship had been cancelled entirely and I saw a lot of disappointed people when we were leaving the ship to go on our trip with ROA. Remember ROA will save the day and help make unforgettable memories for you and your family!   Highly recommended. High quality snorkeling gear and the driver waited for us while we snorkeled. Would do again.

  Christmas vacation in Honduras 🇭🇳 Can’t say enough good things about Roatán Ocean Adventures. Truly family-oriented, knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They took amazing care of our family and made sure everyone felt comfortable and supported the entire trip. Huge shout-out to Yuel (our guide) and Brandon (our captain) — patient, fun, and passionate about what they do.   We have used Herbert and his crew multitude times now and cannot emphasize enough how good they are. They dont treat you like kids and are flexible if you want to change up your experience. The best deal you will get on a cruise excursion bar none. Do not hesitate to book with them.

  Of all the things we did on our cruise, this was by far the best! We were picked up by a sweet older man who is a generational Roatanian with vast knowledge of the island and community. He drove us to the boat location and shared that his son and granddaughter both worked there. The boat wasn’t fancy but it didn’t need to be, there was seating with shade for the short ride out to the reef and back. Our guide, Joseph, was delightful. The day was a bit overcast and rainy but Joseph stayed positive and joked that we could check snorkeling in the rain off our bucket list. It was clear the boat captain and Joseph had a good working routine. Joseph lead us snorkeling for 45 minutes along the reef and the boat followed. The variety of fish we saw was amazing and Joseph was good at pointing out the trickier ones to see, along with a lobster, conch, and nurse shark. I appreciated the respect and care Joseph showed by not touching any living thing and that he didn’t “enhance” the experience by chumming. My husband and I liked that this excursion felt more personal and less touristy. If we ever get the chance to return to Roatan we will do more snorkeling with this company. 10 out of 10 recommend!

  We had a great experience with ROA. Pick up at the dock went smoothly, and we were driven out to the dock. They gave us instructions, loaded us onto the boat, and took us on the short boat ride to French Cay. Our snorkeling guides led us along the reef. We saw so many types of fish! Got to peer over the edge of the drop-off into deep water. It was a great time on the water. Especially appreciated was the coordinator pointing out to me that I had double- booked, and to reach out to have one of them cancelled. They didn’t have to do that; an example of excellent, above and beyond service. Would highly recommend going out with ROA!

  Friendly team. Prompt pick up and everything ran on time. Enjoyed the experience. I felt like the team on the boat were safe minded and professional but also friendly.
