The tour with Francesca was exceptional. Hard to make better. We learned a lot, she was very knowledgeable, and kept kids and parents engaged throughout. We have had many private tours, this was among the best we have had.

AJ gave us a comprehensive tour. She had fun facts for the kids, and answered all their questions (can’t be said for other tours on our trip). Her background in art history delivered an insightful tour, not just reciting dates and names.

Great tour and AJ is an excellent guide! She is friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the Capuchin Crypt in a clear and respectful way. Made a unique place even more interesting—highly recommend.

We had a great time with AJ at the Catacombs and Capuchin Crypts. She was very knowledgeable about the area, the sites, and the art. She was able to keep our kids 9 and 14 engaged as well as adults. She also had great recommendations for restaurants. Having a driver was very helpful as well.

Easily the coolest tour we’ve ever been on! Adventuring through historic Roman catacombs and stepping into the sacred crypts of the Capuchin friars was made infinitely more enjoyable thanks to our wonderful and extremely well educated guide AJ. The best part was her innate ability to entertain our two under 10 boys, keeping them engaged throughout the entire experience. LivTours have been a good choice, but if you’re bringing your children, do yourself a huge favor and make sure you request AJ well in advance, 10/10!

The tour was even better than we imagined. Our tour guide, Massimo, was very engaging and informative. He made the tour fun and interesting for both kids (12 and 15) and me and my husband. While the subject matter seems unpleasant, he told stories and presented the information in a very family friendly manner which even showed how the crypts could be places of comfort and beauty. While in the car, Massimo described the sites we were passing and gave helpful tips for our stay in Rome. I definitely recommend this tour and Massimo
