Indulge in the mouth-watering world of Roman cuisine. Escape from the tourist traps of the city center and come join us on a culinary adventure in Testaccio district. We will walk you around the local market and make you sample the REAL Roman food. This tour is designed for foodies and travelers who want to dive into the local culture and try new dishes. You will meet up with the local guide at Trastevere train station ready to start the adventure with a Maritozzo pastry. You will then cross the Tevere river to reach the district of Testaccio. Stretch your belly before you dive into the scents, colors and flavors of the indoor market of Testaccio. Your guide will pick for you the most delicious street foods from selected top quality stalls. You will learn about locals' daily life and food habits as you sip a regional wine and cheer up with new friends. You will sample a local pasta in a magic trattoria carved into the Mount of Testaccio and finish off with a mouth-watering dessert!

5.00We had enjoyed a Streaty food tour in Palermo, so we had high hopes for Rome, and Julia delivered! Her love of Roman food and sharing special spots in her neighborhood is what put this over the top. The variety and number of stops were perfect. Everything we ate (and drank) was delicious and authentic. We especially enjoyed being able to engage with the owners at a couple of the spots. We’d recommend this tour in a heartbeat to anyone wanting the true Roman food experience, with some amazing history along the way!

5.00This was really fun. The guide Nadia was very knowledgeable and was very fun and friendly. Wish I had done this the first day, because it was Nadia gave a lot of useful information about the foodscene in Palermo.

5.00A food tour is such a great way to experience a city. What better way to interact with local culture than through food? Our tour guide, Alessandra, was just great. She took us to many wonderful local eateries hidden away in places that a tourist would never find. We were introduced to various market foods that we would never have stopped to try! 5.00In early July we did the Palermo MORNING Street Food & Market Tour with Salvo. We have been on a lot of food tours, this one seemed like we were hanging out with a old friend or distant cousin who was showing us around their town. He was funny, insightful and helped us learn a lot about Palermo in a short time. Next time we are back we certainly will stay in Palermo longer and try another one of their tours. Thank you!

5.0011/10 experience with Sabina! I am allergic to dairy, but so much care was taken to make sure I could still experience Rome through its culinary wonders! Sabina organized with all the vendors and triple confirmed all food was free of allergens. She is also very knowledgeable about food history in Rome. Sabina was an absolute gem of a person and I’m so lucky to have had her as a guide! I would most definitely return to this company specifically for another food tour with her! Local products and preparations. You will leave happy and with a full belly! I forgot to take pictures of the vegan gelato, but it was superb!

5.00Very nice to do. We had a very nice, good English speaking guide. She told us all sorts of things and led us through nice streets and markets. Tasted some good stuff. When you hit it, like we had, you also have a nice group and that makes it even more fun.
