Ron del Barrilito Visitor Center
If you plan on grabbing a couple of bottles for your home bar, our mixology experience is a must. Some of the island’s best bartenders will show you the basics of making bar-quality cocktails in your own home. This is not Mojitos 101. We’ll use Ron del Barrilito to craft some of today’s most elegant drinks, such as Old Fashioned, Presidente, and Hemingway Daiquiri. By the end of the class, you’ll be able to easily impress your guests with your bartending moves at your next party.

5.00Valeria guided my girlfriend and I through a private tour of the Ron del Barrilito distillery, the old house from the family, and had such a great time doing the mixology class. We made an Old Fashioned, the Encanto, and the Piña Colada for our 3 cocktails in the mixology class. You will be getting 3 cocktails as well as the complimentary 4th cocktail if you arrive 30 minutes before your tour starts, so make sure that you pace yourself if you drove there. The entire property is gorgeous, and there is so much history there. I was incredibly impressed in the tour, and seeing all of the barrels of rum aging and going through the process was awesome. I have been on many whiskey & bourbon distillery tours, and this one was special. 10/10, Valeria made all the difference in making this tour a full experience.

5.00You get a free drink upon entry. The staff was personable and knowledgeable about their craft. The tour was super informative and at the end we got to make 3 mix drinks which were awesome. 10 out 10, would recommend!

5.00Would highly recommend visiting and taking the tour and mixology course! Wonderful amount of history, local culture & the drinks are incredible. The distillery is very nice and they have a beautiful outdoor area. Post class we had to buy a bottle of rum to take home and try to recreate the drinks we learned to make.
My husband and I loved this tour and mixology class! Dennis was our tour guide, and he was amazing! Highly recommend! Drinks 100

5.00Excellent tour. Upon arrival, we received a welcome cocktail, which was yummy! We had a tour of the facility, then we did the mixology class, which was a lot of fun. We made 3 delicious drinks. Would highly recommend this tour!

5.00This experience was one of the highlights of our whole Caribbean trip! This class was very fun, informative, but most of all very tasty! The rum here is delicious! We bought some at the airport afterwards, duty free. You make 3 full incredible drinks and get another of their innovative ones for free. Don’t plan on driving home! Ha! The equipment at everyone’s station for making the cocktails are top notch and you don’t have to share with others. There is a beautiful porch you can sit on to have your free drink and there are delicious snacks to purchase. 100% do this experience!!
