The best and most exclusive rum tasting experience in the Caribbean. This is a unique opportunity to sip and enjoy all of our rums, from the cult-classic Three Stars to the extremely limited-edition Five Stars.
We are located in Hacienda Santa Ana, Bayamón, just 20 minutes from the San Juan area.

In the aged spirits world, the “angel’s share” is known as the small percentage of alcohol that evaporates inside a barrel as it ages. What the angels don’t take, it’s for all of us to enjoy! To celebrate, we’re sparing no expense in this tasting experience. You’ll get to taste it all. From the fruit notes of Dos Estrellas to our cult-classic Tres Estrellas. You’ll also sip Ron del Barrilito Cuatro Estrellas, a new blend available exclusively at Hacienda Santa Ana, and of course, the crown jewel: Cinco Estrellas. There’s no better opportunity to taste all of these world-class rums in a single tasting.

5.00Wonderful tour with Timmy. The rum tasting was great but I really enjoyed the behind the scenes look at how the rum is made and stored. Al’s quite rare that tours let you sample $750 bottles. Great experience.

5.00We had a lovely and lucky private experience with Octavio. He answered all our questions and gave us a great experience to remember. The rum tasting was amazing and a truly memorable experience. Would recommend 100% and the giftshop is great especially the experience we had after purchasing the 4 star rum. Cocktails are also delicious. Thank you Octavio!!

5.00The rum was delicious and the history of this company and the behind the scenes tour of the factory where it’s made and bottled is very special. The signature cocktails at the bar are excellent and the hand shaken pina colada is not to be missed!!

5.00This was a great tour learning about the history of this San Juan family's distillery. It is no longer owned by the family, but the distillery has upheld their legacy. The tasting was also very informative. I really enjoyed the authentic experience this is.

5.00The tour of the grounds and factory was very informative. Octavio was a GREAT tour guide and patiently answered all of the questions we asked. He really knew his stuff! The cocktails were amazing. Expertly crafted by the mixologists, made us want more, so we had seconds! The tasting of the four types of rum was a great way to wrap up the tour. How else would you know what a $750 bottle of rum tastes like? We took the tour on the advice of a bartender and we’re glad we did. Happy to be fans of Ron de Barrilito. Worth a quick drive or Uber ride if you’re staying in San Juan. The place is fairly small and tours are done hourly in groups - you don’t need Skip the Line tickets. Just sign up for a tour directly on the Ron de Barrilito site and save a few bucks.

5.00Our guide, Rogelio, was hospitable, energetic, and informational. The historical facts along the tour enhanced our experience. The tour is very brief, but the tasting was superb. This is a highly recommended expedition in Bayamón.

5.00Such an interesting, fun, and unique experience! Our guide Dennis was so knowledgeable and accommodating and the rum was DELICIOUS. This was one of our favorite parts of our entire Puerto Rico trip and we were so grateful that we chose this over a larger/more corporate option. Would definitely recommend!
