5.00What a great experience. Adventure and beauty of the forest all wrapped in safety and laughter. Sam and Emma were awesome guides. They made you feel at home and safe the whole time. Their sense of humours were infectious. The forest is stunning. So amazing to see it in it's pristine state. Well worth the cost and time. I'd go again tomorrow if I could.

5.00We did the 11:45 a.m. Rotorua Canopy Tour, and it was LOADS OF FUN! From start to finish, the guides were incredible! A huge shoutout to Lochlan (“Lochy”) and his legendary mullet, plus the two wonderful women guiding with him (I wish I remembered their names!). Their energy, humor, and calm confidence made everyone feel safe, even the more nervous folks in our group. The ziplining itself was unreal. You move between warm patches of sun and the cool shade of the forest canopy, so light layers are perfect. The views are absolutely stunning, soaring above ancient forest, weaving through treetops, and taking in scenery you just can’t appreciate from the ground. One of the highlights was the wildlife. I actually got to hand-feed native birds, and the guides taught us all about the conservation work being done to protect this ecosystem. It felt meaningful to know that part of the ticket price goes directly into preserving the forest, and they shared before/after photos that showed just how dramatically the area has recovered. And of course, the grand finale: on the last zipline they let us all hang upside down (completely optional but SO fun), and took hilarious action shots. Best part? We got to download all the photos for free; no sneaky upsells. If you’re on the fence: go. Whether you’re an adrenaline lover or a little nervous, this team will make you laugh, feel safe, and have a blast. One of the absolute highlights of Rotorua, highly, highly recommend!

5.00We were lucky to have a private tour with three amazing guides, as we were the only people booked. The guides were incredibly friendly, attentive, and shared a lot of fascinating knowledge about the ancient forest. The whole experience was simply wonderful: the pristine, impressive forest, the well-maintained platforms and ziplines, and the constant feeling of safety. The longest zipline at over 220 m and the highest at more than 35 m were absolute highlights – breathtaking! Rotorua Canopy Tours is an absolute must. Thank you for this exceptional adventure!

5.00An incredible experience in a magical location, delivered by wonderful and passionate people. Having a huge fear of heights (that I was determined to take head on) I didn’t go into this experience without significant research and more than a tad of nervousness. Travist & Ange were simply amazing guides and put me at ease straight away. Whilst “the fear” was definitely present throughout I grew in confidence with every zipline and bridge conquered. Not gonna lie there were definitely moments when I wanted to stop and get off (not sure if this would have been possible) but Ange provided significant patience and calm reassurance with the right amount of humour. Whilst this was an adventure it was also an education into the redwood habitat and its history and management. If you are in the area and can afford this trip then i thoroughly recommend it. From a personal perspective thank you Travist and Ange in particular for helping me face into and beat (at least on this occasion) something that has held me back from many activities. Your patience, professionalism and kindness were much appreciated .. thank you

5.00To zipline above the canopy in an ancient forest was an incredible privilege. The guides were hospitable and encouraging. Safety was a priority and they had a good mix of safety and fun with a bit of daredevil mixed in for anyone who was game. For those who just wanted less extreme adventure, they kept things at the right pace and were very encouraging to any newbies or those who found the 35 metre height a little intimidating. We had a group who ranged in age from 6 to 60 and they catered for all. This was a magical experience and I'd do it again with them in a heartbeat.
