A Worthwhile Introduction to Rotterdam

5.00This was a really great tour overall and introduction to Rotterdam. If it's your first time visiting (or if you have visited before, but haven't really explored), I'd recommend it to get your bearings straight and to introduce you to the city. Our guide (Elmer) was not only very informative, but he was ready to listen to questions and answer it thoroughly. I had a lot of questions about not only the history of Rotterdam, but about the culture and he couldn't have been more helpful. He also told me about the newly opened Dutch Photography museum, which upon his recommendation, I went to visit a couple of days after the tour. I definitely recommend taking this tour if you have the chance to do so!

5.00Excellent walk and tour around Rotterdam. One of the scheduled attendees cancelled, so we had a very small group, which allowed us to stop in a really small local coffee shop midway through the tour. Fun and engaging conversations with our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about both the founding history and the role of the city during WWII.

5.00Elmer was a top guide. I ended up having a private tour because the other person who booked didn’t turn up. Elmer was full of amazing historical and architectural facts. Highly recommend coming to Rotterdam and booking through this tour company. No complaints, cracker day :)

5.00We met Elmer, he was so passionate and knowledgeable, wr asked to tailor the tour so we could see more of the harbour and he gave us so many interesting facts and local views, a must tour if you want to understand the journey of Rotterdam

5.00The tour guide is super informed about Rotterdam. I loved how he focused on Rotterdam during WW2 but still pointed out the landmarks in modern day Rotterfam.

5.00What a fantastic experience walking around the city taking in all the major sites with a knowledgeable and friendly guide! I highly recommend doing this as early during your visit as possible as you will learn about other things you will want to be doing around town.
