You’ll have the choice to catch the ferry to Rottnest Island from Perth or Fremantle. If you're traveling from Perth, you’ll motor down Swan River to Fremantle before continuing on the journey to Rottnest Island, 25 minutes from Fremantle. How you spend your time on arrival is then up to you! With 20 bays and 63 beaches dotted along the coast, you’ll find plenty of places to snorkel, swim, surf or stand up paddleboard. Or rent a bike (own expense) and pedal along car-free roads to a secluded bay. Families can enjoy kid-oriented activities at the family fun park or aqua park. If you’re a history buff, check out the Rottnest Island Museum, Lomas Cottage, the Salt Store and Exhibition Center or the Pilot Boathouse. You’ll discover why Rottnest Island is a favorite of locals and visitors alike! Just note that all entrance fees and activities are at your own expense. After a full day exploring the island at your leisure, you’ll return on the afternoon ferry to Fremantle or Perth.

5.00Well worth every penny. A great trip. Beautiful island. Lots of great facilities and places to eat. The playground is a great place for kids to let off steam. We found the convenience store to have a great array of supplies. Loved the bakery which was very popular.
Rottnest was interesting and quokkas were cute

4.00The boat trip from Perth was fine. We wished we had gone from Fremantle because of speed restrictions on boats between the two ports. We were on the Fremantle side of Perth. Having said that the boat was comfortable and the crew fine. We loved Rottnest. There was plenty to see and do and, of course, the Quokkas were cute.

5.00Perth to Rottnest is 1hr 45m journey, the commentary down the swan River is really interesting. The outside seats on our ferry all faced backwards which I don't like. Inside was lovely and cool, some seats have tables.

5.00An amazing experience overall. The booking clerk was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel pickup was efficient and the ferry staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The cost was reasonable and good value including an hours cruise down river before we crossed from Fremantle to the island. We had plenty of time on the island to do the hop on hop off bus as to sightsee. Thus was a great experience and a highlight of our holiday

5.00This is a great trip. You get picked up by coach. The trip includes a tour of Swan River with commentary. The staff were fantastic and friendly. You get loads of time on the island. You can if you want to order bikes, tours and trips. This company can give you everything you need for a great day. Highly recommended 👍

4.00The island has several bays each more beautiful than the other but with arrival on the island at 10:40 (departure from Barrack St by ferry at 8:45) and return at 5 pm (you have to be on the ferry around 4:15 / 30 max), the stops are much too short if you opt for the Hop on - Hop off bus system! The ticket is sold for AUD 30 and the bus passes at each stop every 20 minutes, so you really need to optimize your time by organizing well. The major concern is that the last bus leaves from point No 11 (the last bay to see) at 3:30 pm! .. If you miss it, you will have to manage to return to the jetty in less than an hour on foot!! In short, it’s stressful and we don’t really enjoy the beautiful beaches of the various bays. To see if cycling is easier ..

5.00The Rottnest Island tour was awesome! The jetty location was super convenient, making it easy to redeem my ticket. The ferry was comfortable and smooth, and I had plenty of time to explore the island on my own. I really enjoyed my day and had a wonderful time on Rottnest Island.
