Take the path less travelled as we go off-road and explore Rottnest Island’s most spectacular bays, beaches and attractions on a Segway built for adventure! Our knowledgeable guides will share an insight into the military heritage of Rottnest and its pivotal role in the defence of Fremantle Harbour. We visit the Bickley Battery gun emplacements and Jubilee lookout, with plenty of time to enjoy the pristine beaches and an opportunity to meet Rottnest’s famous Quokkas.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Must be minimum 12 years of age .
Weigh over 45kgs and under 118 kgs
Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Pregnant guests are not permitted on the tour due to fall risk.
Not recommended for guests with some mobility or motor control issues.

5.00Harriet was our tour guide and was amazing. Very knowledgeable and informative. Very calm and made me feel safe even though I may have had a little panics or two? I would highly recommend doing this. It was a lot of fun and we learnt a lot! Thanks Harriet you were great!

5.00The experience was a delight! Our tour guide Harriet was a great guide and taught me how to use a Segway! On top of that, we learnt about the island’s rich history and heritage. The tour was fun, interesting and overall worth it.

5.00So happy we booked this tour. Was a bit apprehensive about using a segway but we had instructions and practice before we headed off and it was pretty easy to get used to. It was a great way to see Rottnest and the commentary was funny and informative. Our guide was excellent. Unfortunately i can't remember his name.

5.00Seth was excellent! Great tour, just the two of us and it was fun. Special care to ensure we could operate the Segways then off we went around the Island. We upgraded to the 1.5 hour tour last minute, easy! Seth had great knowledge and a fun sense of humour too. Highly recommend - thanks Seth :)

5.00After a short and effective training session, we were pleasantly surprised by how easy and intuitive the Segways were to ride. The tour offered a fascinating glimpse into Rottnest Island’s dark and complex history, brought to life by our knowledgeable guide. The route was both fun to navigate and showcased the island’s stunning coastal scenery. A great mix of adventure and education — highly recommended!

5.00Never thought I'd ride a Segway but it was surprisingly easy to get the hang of and something the teens and adults both enjoyed. Our guide, Harriet, was terrific and after teaching us all how to operate the Segway took us on an informative tour of the settlement. It was a great way to see some of the island and lots of quokkas. Our guide was happy to take photos and videos for us which was much appreciated. The island is beautiful and after the tour we explored further a field on the hop on/off bus.

5.00We were very fortunate to have the lovely James take our tour and he was Fantastic. There were only two of us on the tour so it was up close and personal. Plenty of time to train how to manage the Segway and then James led us around the island. So much better than walking and the Segways were sturdy even when going off road. I would highly recommend this tour. Thanks heaps, James.
