• Amazing walk through snowy forest and waterfalls! Our guide Corantin was fantastic!

  I had a family trip to Rovaniemi in early January and we had a fantastic trip to Korouoma Canyon. Our guide Corantin was a fantastic, and kept us entertained throughout the drive to the canyon and the trip itself. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was very attentive if anyone was struggling on the icy parts of the walk. The canyon, the waterfalls and the walk were all amazing in the snow, and we were lucky enough to have some snow falling during our trip as well. We were picked up from our accommodation and provided with all the equipment we needed for the walk. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone considering it, well worth the journey time and probably the best thing we did during our holiday.

  Absolutely magical experience. We loved this hike- the scenery was out of this world! Our guide James was very knowledgable about the surrounding nature and we learnt a lot. The hike itself is not too strenuous but it was cold being out for hours so I’d recommend layering up and bring hand warmers! The BBQ at the end was a nice finish and we appreciated James being thoughtful enough to make sure the vegetarian and meat sausages didn’t mix. He also stopped on our way back so we could take photos of an unreal sunset, that was the best grand finale and I’m so grateful for it!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Rovaniemi, worth it for the views.

  Our guide Hugo was fantastic! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and made the day a lot of fun! He even helped one of our guests stage a proposal at the most beautiful waterfall (she said yes) ❤️

  My guide Franco, and their social media manager Denise, were so lovely and attentive. They made the trip fun and a good and memorable experience. Thank you both for a wonderful trip.

  

  

• We had high expectations but...

  Our guide, I don’t remember the name but she was a young blonde girl, probably had another engagement after our excursion since she made us all run. The experience was supposed to last 7 hours, but actually lasted less. The guide was actually nice and sociable during the drive, once we arrived at our destination he never said a word, except when he had to explain what we were seeing. So very little in fact, since he explained practically nothing to us. We were provided with the heaviest suits, and this was much appreciated given the very low temperatures, and also crampons. Too bad he only had 2 pairs of crampons, and in total we were 8. She walked so fast that some of us couldn't keep up with her and when she realized we were behind, maybe even to take pictures of ourselves, she looked annoyed. Included in the price was a BBQ. It was nothing but a paltry hotdog. Just one. And some hot tea. On a positive note, they remembered to bring vegan sausages for my vegetarian friend. For the price paid, more than 90€ each (and it was discounted!) we expected much more! Only the scenery exceeded our expectations, truly wonderful.
