  The walk was great. We saw some beautiful frozen waterfalls. The view is stunning. It is a truly winter fairytale. JB is a great tour guide. Very warm and friendly and took good care of us.

  I really enjoyed the hike through Korouoma Canyon! Our guide Sunia was cheerful and upbeat making sure everyone on the hike is well rested and stopping frequently for us to take a break! Whenever we stop for a break, she would explain the interesting facts about this forest, about how reindeer eat lichen off tree branches, what the taiga biome is, and letting us slide down ice paths which was my highlight other than seeing the frozen waterfalls! The hike was also well paced, where we had a bbq of hotdogs and toasted buns in the middle of the forest near the end of the hike which was so vibes, and the return trip although was quite tough since it was basically uphill the whole time, did not take longer than 20 minutes! Thank you for such a wonderful experience of seeing frozen nature for the first time in my life!

  The visit to Korouoma Canyon and the frozen waterfalls is absolutely beautiful, but what really made the difference for us was our guide, Raphael. Along the way, we met other groups from another company whose guides had practically left them alone, with very little explanation. Their experience clearly seemed less interesting. Conversely, Raphael was present from beginning to end, always attentive, with clear explanations, and taking care of the comfort and safety of each. Thanks to him, everything went perfectly and the experience was rich, well organized and really enjoyable. This shows how a good guide can totally change the quality of an excursion. The outdoor barbecue was the perfect finishing touch to conclude an already unforgettable day. I highly recommend, and if you have Raphael as your guide, you are in excellent hands 😀

• The highlight of our tour!

  What an incredible day! It started off great with a pickup from our accommodation and made way to the location! The van’s were incredibly comfy and the drive was very safe with a stop each way for toilet or break. We made it to the location and our guide Pedro was absolutely phenomenal, a massive highlight of our tour and made it all super safe but more importantly, super fun and brought the whole experience to life! The views and the trail routes were super fun with breathtaking scenery and plenty of interesting facts and Pedro was very kind to take plenty of photos! We even went down fun slides too which was a definitely a core memory made! The barbecue was unbelievable with delicious food prepared by our guide and plenty of stories and laughs shared! The whole hike was simply incredible and with a drop off back at our accommodation, we would recommend this tour and Pedro as a no brainer to any Rovaniemi newcomers! It was worth every minute and penny! The length of the tour was perfect with plenty of time and a small group which was just perfect!

  The walk had rises and falls, and in some sections you were sliding. The views were breathtaking and Viktor (our guide) treated us great; he told us many stories and is an excellent photographer. Then we had hot chocolate and dogs at a barbecue.

  We had an amazing hiking experience, and we couldnt ask for a better tour guide. Pedro was so kind, friendly and patient. We had time to do some fun activities like small snow slidings and snow shedding, and a lot of beautiful photos too. Highly recommend this tour to anyone! Definitely a MUST-DO!

  Great tour all the way! Amazing views during the hike, interesting facts about the country from our guide Andrew, traditional BBQ outside and a nice ride the and back in air conditioned mini van. Also warm winter suites are provided.   Special review for our guide Robin who took us on this trip, Tuesday dec. 9th. Besides the fact that the forest and scenery are breathtaking, Robin really did an amazing job. Couldn’t have asked for a better lead. He’s a very laid back, kind and comfortable human being. Loved every minute of it. Thank you!
