  Arthur and the team of tour guides and photographers were very passionate about the work that they did and extremely patient whilst myself and my wife took a few photo's. And whilst our kids were in the dark made sure to check that the group were not lost in the snow. We were very lucky on that day because the sky was ready for us which was great. Lots of photo's were taken and a delicious warm berry juice and cookies were generously shared by a roaring fire. Also it was my daughter 10th birthday which made it even more special and everyone sang happy birthday.   Dennis and Julia were incredible guides during our Aurora Borealis tour in Rovaniemi. From the moment we met them, their enthusiasm and expertise were clear. They went far beyond what we expected, driving extra distances to chase the best skies and ensure we had the perfect viewing spot. They were incredibly helpful, patient, and went out of their way to make sure everyone in the group had an unforgettable experience. Julia took the time to help us capture stunning photos of the dancing lights, while Dennis kept us informed and comfortable throughout the night. Thanks to their dedication, we saw a breathtaking display of the Northern Lights and came home with wonderful pictures we’ll treasure forever.   Jeremiah and atte were excellent guides, friendly and fun. We had a great sighting of the lights, post viewing we enjoyed warm berry juice and biscuits

  

• My first aurora ever, and something incredible happened!!

  This trip was written on 16th December, and this is an upgraded smaller group tour, which BookLapland was nice enough to offer since the normal group tour was cancelled due to poor weather conditions in Rovaniemi This is my first ever time seeing the aurora, and oh my god it did not disappoint!! My guide and aurora hunter is Ali, and I would say he is amazing and I love how passionate he is in finding auroras!! Given that it is a long ride, and we potentially had to drive 5 hours to Abisko, Sweden, he was chatty throughout the ride, playing great music and sharing trivia about auroras that made the ride feel shorter than usual! We eventually drove 3-4 hours to Sweden and stopped by in the middle of the road. The aurora was weak at first but we managed to get nice professional photos taken by him! We were in the car about to leave when suddenly he yelled "Get out the car now!" and then I was treated to an amazing sight where a solar flare intensified the auroras to the point where it was so vibrant I could see the colours clearly with my naked eyes. And then it kept happening for the next hour and Ali had captured an amazing timelapse for us. I was already happy with the minimal aurora at first as he had set our expectations right before we saw the aurora, but seeing it flare up in person is something you have to see it for yourself! Thank you for the analogy where you said Aurora Hunting is like catching a fish, you need patience! Thank you Ali and BookLapland for this once in a lifetime experience!!

  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMMERCIAL SCAMMERS! They give wrong promises and deliver nothing. Just pathetic experience with this company to spend our valuable time in search of Northern lights. There is no pre effort put in to decide where to go in search for northern lights or take extra step to make sure clients are happy with their service. They load all ppl in a bus like a carriage and drive them for hours and at the end come up with excuses stating Sorry this was the best light for this night. See the picture that I am sharing which they call a perfect northern lights. There are other providers which are highly recommend - just stay away from this provider.

  Wonderful experience!!! Our expectations regarding the Northern Lights were high and the guides struggled to make it possible. Very cool guides! What about the photos? Forget it. We saw up a situation that the photographer was extremely rude with a couple of tourists. If we didn't take our photos with our cell phone, we'd be without photos.

  Excellent tour! Heikki is an awesome guide, driving from Rovaniemi to Sweden so that we can catch the aurora. A very skilled photographer, he captured really great photos for us to remember our trip!

  Since our site was foggy we had to go quite a way. Our guide was very friendly and experienced. Quickly after leaving the fog he managed to find a good spot. We really enjoyed the tour.

  Overall, everything was good. What I didn’t like was that we were a full bus of 45+ passengers and had to travel for more than 3 hours one way. Despite that, we did manage to see the Northern Lights, although mostly through the camera. The staff were very friendly .
