You will be taken on a northern lights hunt with a professional photographer in a spacious van. (Comfort is important for road trips, as we travel at least 50 km—but usually around 120 km one way—to find the darkest spot.) A delicious Finnish Sandwich and berry tea are on the menu for the night to satisfy your hunger. Since our priority is finding a clear spot for the northern lights, we don’t set up a barbecue for unnecessary sausages. Based heavily on cloud coverage and solar wind data, you may visit 2 to 3 different viewpoints from the 100 we have mapped, discovered all across Finnish and Swedish Lapland. Some say it’s a nice road trip; others call it a true northern lights hunt. Due to weather conditions, we always send an information email to our guests by 13:00 at the latest on the day of the tour. Sometimes, we may need to depart 1 hour earlier or later to find better weather. Our tours usually start between 18:30 and 19:00 and end around 01:00 to 03:00.

The "100% money back" is a lie.

1.00The visibility of the Northern Lights is never guaranteed. That's why we booked a tour that states they have "100% money back guarantee". We did not see the Northern Lights, the guides admitted you cannot see them with the naked eye despite waiting for two hours under a clear sky. They were visible with the 4 second exposure on pictures taken with their own digital cameras, not with the naked eye. In the terms and condition they state a 100% money back guarantee in case they are not seen which is a lie. When I asked for the full or at least partial refund they cited the review of another participant as the proof of the visibility of the Aurora and then shared the above mentioned long exposure photo. Attached is the normal exposure photo of that night from my own camera. Not an honest company.

5.00A really good experience! Both our guides were really nice and explained the phenomenon behind the aurora borialis. We were lucky to see the aurora borealis on the first spot. We stayed a couple of hours to enjoy it the most we could I recommend it!

5.00We had an amazing Northern Lights hunting experience. Our guide Rasa was absolutely wonderful — very friendly, professional and truly dedicated to helping us see the aurora. The weather around Rovaniemi was not ideal, but he made a huge effort and drove us very far to find clear skies. Thanks to his determination and experience, we were finally able to see the Northern Lights, and it was absolutely magical. You can really feel that he cares about giving guests the best possible experience. We are very grateful for this unforgettable night. Highly recommended!

5.00Rasa was an incredible guide. I was skeptical about paying more for the private tour but it was definitely worth it. It was pretty cloudy so we had to drive a while but Rasa kept looking for a good spot until we found one. He found a perfectly clear sky with lots of aurora activity and when that slowed we went to a new spot. Highly highly recommend this tour.

5.00I went on an aurora tour with my guide Emin in March 2026. I was looking at the weather forecast and the aurora borealis outbreak information and was worried that we might not be able to see the aurora borealis. However, they moved to a place where there was a small chance of seeing them while predicting their occurrence, and they were able to see some very beautiful aurora. If you want to see the Northern Lights again, I would love to ask Emin!

5.00We had an amazing Northern Lights tour with Resa! He was an excellent guide — very knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the Aurora. He took us to the perfect spot away from city lights and helped us understand the science behind the Northern Lights while we waited. Reza was very patient and made sure everyone had a great experience. He also helped with camera settings so we could capture beautiful photos of the Aurora.
